Stephenie Meyer puts “Midnight Sun” book on hold ‘indefinitely’

After an unfinished partial draft of her book “Midnight Sun”, the “Twilight” story told in Edwards perspective, was leeked on the internet Stephenie has decided to put the work on hold indefinitely. MTV and the Los Angeles Times both have articles on the story.
On her official website Stephenie has posted a note on the incident and her feelings about the situation. She has also decided to make her draft of “Midnight Sun” available for her fans to read on her site. I know you will never read this, but I thought writting to you and acknowledging your great work on Midnight Sun would infact help me to maybe to get the other readers to inspire you, to finish writing this wonderful story you started. I absolutley love the four books that you wrote and the thrilling inspiration that I recieved on all four of them. I am not very big on reading books, but this is the type of story line that I have been looking for all my life. I love the thrilling romance of a vampire and human. I read your first book so quickly that I ran out and got the second immediatley. I wish that you would finish the final book because a lot of questions that I had for Edward may finally be answered and the four books finally come to a close without anymore wondering. Again I really loved all four of your books and look forward to maybe ready the last of Midnight Sun!!!!

Think of all your fans. Do you really want to let us down? I know that you are hurt and so are everybody else. Trust me. When I found out that you were not finishing the book, I think my heart skipped a couple hundred beats. And I know that you will never read this, but just think about the MILLIONS of fans you would be letting down. I will support you decision what ever that may be. But I will always want to read MIDNIGHT SUN. And just so you know these books are the BEST thing to ever happen to me and my friends. So just think about how your making your fans feel.

i have not long just read the first two of your books Twilight and New Moon. i am yet to get the last two. but i love your work and i would love to one day if you ever finish midnight sun i would buy it. i do understand why you stoped writing it but hope that some day you would want your fans to read the whole finished book.
