While I respect people’s right to have an opinion I’m really tired of hearing how they think SM has overreacted. She said “indefinitely” not “never”. While the two words can have a similar meaning they are not the exact same thing. And even if “never” becomes the meaning, that’s her right. Someone stole her right to release the book as she wanted and it’s her right to not finish it if she so chooses. And comparing the release of one song to scraping an entire album is ridiculous. It’s not the same thing as each song could be like a book of it’s own OR a chapter. I do not condone the early leaks of music. But the album is not ruined by the release of a song. If it were, the music industry wouldn’t do it legally. But partial chapters could very well spoil a book. Especially since the song was probably complete where as these chapters were not. I support SM 100%. People say she’s being unfair but she didn’t have to release the chapters on her site to help her fans. She could have pitched a major fit, started calling people names (as many have done to her unnecessarily) and even gone so far as to name who the original leak was. But she didn’t and that to me shows she has class. Her haters are being hypocritical in their statements of her and proving just who is the bigger person in this debacle.
i totally agree admiral lily! if she didnt want it published on the internet in the first place, then i doubt that now she’ll finish it. anyway i love stephenie meyer and her books!!!!
