Variety has an article on “New Moon”. In the article it states that screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg says there is will be no Leah Clearwater character in the “New Moon” movie. Stephenie Meyer was on the top of USA Today’s year end list. According to the article she had the following records for 2008:
• Meyer and her Twilight books claim the top four slots on our year-end list, the first author to do so. In 2000, Rowling’s Harry Potter books had Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 5. Who Moved My Cheese was No. 4 that year.
• Meyer’s books, including the adult novel The Host, accounted for 12.5% of all sales tracked by our list — that’s higher than the record 11.3% logged by Rowling in 2000.
• Meyer’s books spent 19 weeks at No. 1. That matches Rowling’s 19 weeks at No. 1 in 2000. (Breaking Dawn had four weeks, Aug. 7-28. Twilight accounted for the other 15 weeks: July 10; July 24-31; Sept. 4-18; Oct. 23-Dec. 4; and Dec. 24-31.)

There is a Twilight jewelry box available for pre-order that is an Amazon exclusive. The jewelry box has a glossy black finish with dark blue velvet like lining. The Cullen crest spins in front of the mirror while the box plays the classical song “Claire de Lune”. The top of the box has a picture of Edward and Bella with the Twilight logo. One side has Edward’s picture and the other side has a picture of Bella. The front of the box has the quote, “And so the Lion fell in love with the Lamb”. The box has ring holders and storage compartment for your Twilight jewelry. There is one drawer that slides out from the front. It measures 7 x 5 X 4 inches.
