Jonas Brothers writing a song for Twilight sequel?
The L.A. Times has an article on The Jonas Brothers writing a song for the soundtrack for “New Moon”. They would like to write a song for the new movie. Nothing has been confirmed. Read the article here.

I don’t think They should…… they are really bad singers and it would wreck the whole New Moon Soundtrack…..!!!!!!!!
i agree! their songs are pretty stupid! they haven’t even seen the movie, or more importantly read the book! and the jonas brothers can’t even compare to any of the twilight cast members! defenitely not robert pattinson and even not taylor lautner, and believe me that is a huge compliment from me because i’m a major team edward person!
i don’t hate them.. they’re good singers but… I just don’t think their sound would fit the feel of the movie.. u know? twilight/new moon & JObros are really different things..
the jonas brothers do not belong with new moon. there also needs to a certain vibe on the songs, and i don’t think they would be able to pull that off.. and besides..i dont think any disney people should be involved in a movie like NM! new moon is better than the soundtrack that they wanna put in!!
Well hopefully “the powers that be” see comments like these and make an educated decision. I’m not down for any of this – it isn’t a Disney Production – I really do hope that they don’t over glam this and stay true to the story and the feel…..otherwise I don’t know if I’ll continue with the movies : (
Oh wow the Jonas Brothers, i kind of like their music, and plus they’re cute. It would be a change for them, i mean to make a soundtrack of something really big
but i am kindof disappointed cuz they haven’t seen the movie, i mean how can you not, ok for them i understand, but till now you still haven’t seen it.
But in a way i can’t picture them writing a song for New Moon, i mean if yu were to compare it to Paramore’s song for Twilight, now that was perfect for twilight, plus it matches the image for it.

I have say for them I understand, but I also think that they would have to sing something that is WAY different from their music to make it good on New Moon.
Cannot wait for New Moon, and if they do decide to let them play a song, good for them. (just ill hope they write something really good that would suit New Moon!!)

I don’t like the Jonas brothers. Them singing a song for the movie NEW MOON will only mess up the vibe of the movie. besides their not that good of singers. Their style is just way to different. They can go sing for other movies if they wish, but I beg them not to sing for any of the twilight movies.(TEAM EEDWARD)

No freaking way. I hope Stephenie Meyers will reject this unheard of possibility. Give me a break they stink. The Twilight I go with is some rock, alternative and such. Not freaking stupid stinking I want to love a row boat musical artists. I don’t think this will happen especially if she has any say so. Just think the last soundtrack was from songs she wrote the book to her playlist. That is where they should get the music from. Put some Evanesance in there. That kind of thing. Come on lets be logical here Jonas Brothers don’t fit in here. I will be highly irriated who do they think they are Paramore. The sang an irritating song Love Bug and they want to make a song to this movie give me a darned break. This makes me really mad because music makes a movie for sure. This would be a sure fire way to really kill the movie. I mean you already got no talent I can’t act actress Vanessa Hudgens attached to this movie. I am already upset about that. Just looking for her next meal ticket because Rob is the next hot thing. I am unhappy about some of the casting so don’t disappoint with the music.

Jonas brothers are gentlemen. But I don’t think their music fits with «Twilight style».
We need to hear the song first. That would be great if Twilight fans could vote among few song. I would be delighted if the producers chose unknown and talented artists.
The Jonas Brothers don’t even know about the books or the movie. I gathered from lexicon, that this is what they said,
“He’s a vampire, but he’s pretty strong and stuff”
How could they write a song about something they don’t even know about.
Paramore’s a big fan of the books so they know exactly what to write.

ok idk why everyone hates the Jonas Brothers. i think it would be cool if they wrote a song for new moon. i dont think it would mes up the whole movie. they could def write a song about when edward leaves bella or when bella and jacob start falling in love. idk that my opinion. the whole soundtrack doesnt have to be rock and hard rock and metal and stuff like that. there was 3 slow songs in the twilight. i would perfer for the Jobros to sing a slow song for it. but whateva.

No way… no Jonai on this soundtrack. Seriously, the whole “vibe” of the books AND the Twilight movie were more rock-type songs. The Jonai are NOT rock – they’re POP. Anyone that has looked at Stephenie’s playlist for her “muse” (pun intended) for writing the novels will know that there really are no POP songs on their. If there is going to be any songs that aren’t going to be Rock-ish – Robert needs to sing those songs.
I understand that these books and movies are targeted towards tweens and such… but I know that some tweens and teens have better taste in music than the Jonai.
im having mixed feels about this. i like the jonas brothers (well some of there songs anyway!) but they usually are on disney channel and all those “kid” channels. i really couldnt see them playing a song for a AMAZING movie like new moon!! i really dont want them on the soundtrack. thats just my opinion!!

The jonas brothers are awesome but i have to agree with bellaaaaaa i dont think i can see them on the soundtrack. I finished breaking dawn and all i wanted to listen to was belle”s lullaby so i dont think that the jonas brothers should be on the soundtracdk for new moon.
I am not saying the Jonas Brothers are terrible but they are not the style. They never will be. It is not their fault but they don’t need to write a song for this movie. They need to stick to Stephenie Meyers playlist choose from it. There is plenty to choose from. For some of you this might be the first time you started becoming interested in rock and such. I am not a newby to this music I love it and listen to it. I am not a teenager and not all people watching or reading the books are teenagers. I would have to say about 60 percent are grown ups. Believe me when I say Jonas Brothers doesn’t fit the style. They can never. Please these are the boys that sang a song Love Bug. Gentlemen they may be but their songs are not Twilight material and will mess the feel of the movie up. We all have our opinions. I think Disney actors or singers really need to stay away from this movie. I mean when did pop stars and such become goth or somewhat goth. Geesh, things like this was laughed at. It is amazing to me how something can turn around in one day from uncool to cool. I have always been kind of dark and like it that way. I think they need to pick singers and actors/actresses who fit the bill for this movie. I will give them this picking for the first movie they did a great job. The big thing is that they were actors who were basically fresh and new. They should have stuck to casting the movie in the light. I am thrilled about Dakota Fanning as she is a fabulous actress for sure and I know she can do her thing. As for those telling us to give the Jonas Brothers a chance look at it from our stand point as well. We have seen the kind of songs so far they have made and it doesn’t fit that is all there is too it. Nooooooooooooooo, Jonas Brothers!

i belive on stephanies website that she has already preety much chosen what she thinks will compliment new moon just check the playlist link under the new moon part on her webiste, and no way do the jonas brothers or any band like them fit with the genre she sticks with. i hope the people behind the movie dont make the worng decision by choosing a gay pop band like them!!!
