“All Around Me” is def. a great choice! Everytime I hear it I think of NM!
There’s a few on the list I’ve never heard, so I’ll have to take a listen!!
I must add CHANGE THE WORLD by FINGER ELEVEN to the list.
Take a listen to it, it’s on the same cd as Paralyzer but hasn’t been released as a single, so it’s ripe for soundtrack material. The lyrics are IDEAL for Edward leaving Bella and what he does when faced with life without her.

lyrics on #1=PERFECT the rest of the song=bad. These song choices are defanatley NOT the best!!!!!!!!! Thunder is a really great song but i am not possitive that it fits! All around me fits pretty well acctually!!!!!!

Definitely needs to have “Hate Me” by Blue October. Stephanie said she heard the song and totally thought of Edward. It would be perfect for right after the break-up.

Someone up there must love me! I am so ecstatic that someone else out there agrees with me on music. From the second I read New Moon the songs “Here with Me” (dido), “Missing” (evanescence), and “All Around Me” (Flyleaf) came into my head as soundtrack songs as I read. The words and the feel completely convey the pain and feel of this movie. One song I would add though is “Lullaby” (the spill canvas) it would be perfect for the plane ride back from Voltera. Now lets just hope that the movie people actually read stuff like this. Even if they dont, those four songs were MY soundtrack to that book. love, love, love!!!! And kudos to whoever came up with that kick ass list!!!
I think there should also be (even though she wouldn’t fit in on the NM soundtrack) Demi Lovato ‘Until You’re Mine.’ That totally fits!

i only have heard one song of the list but one song that i would like to hear in the soundtrack for new moon would be “save me” by RBD.the lyrics of this song it really matches with the story especially when edward leaves bella.try to listen to it and you might think the same as me.

I love the song, ‘here with me’ – it should be the theme song of ‘New Moon’, i saw a fan clip with it on youtube- it was SO well done -

“Hurt” (origanilly by Nine Inch Nails) Johnny Cash. This should be played When Bella goes to the Cullen’s house after they’ve left.
“I miss You” Blink-182. This should be played when Bella Wants to call Jacob but everytime she does nobody answers.
“Empty Apartment” Yellowcard. This should be played when Bella has to Leave Jacob to save Edward.
“The Thief” Relient k. This should be played when Edward leaves Bella in the woods.
“I So Hate Consequences” Relient k. this should be played when Alice And Bella are racing to save Edward.
“Life After Death And Taxes” Relient k. This should be played when Bella jumps off the cliff.
“Devastation and Reform” Relient k. This should be played when Jacob and Paul get into a fight.
“At Least We Made It This Far” Relient k. This should be played when Edward and Bella are on the plane going back to Forks.

i love evanescence and flyleaf they are awesome!!!!!! But they should add paramore because they are awsome too. i agree with crystal that broken by seether and amy lee would be a good song to add because it’s like awesome. but i think the soundtrack should be paramore evanescend and flyleaf cuz i would buy that in a heartbeat. my immortal would be a good song too.
