‘Twilight’ director Catherine Hardwicke may direct ‘Maximum Ride

An Article at EW says ‘Twilight’ director Catherine Hardwicke may direct “Maximum Ride”.
The five-volume book series by James Patterson chronicles six teens, known as the Flock, who are genetically altered so that they are part human and part bird.

I haven’t read this series yet, but I own the books. I bought them for my father who read them and said they were good. So I borrowed them so I could read.

I never read this book but people have said that it’s a good book. I might just have to read it if Catherine directs the movie!!

i love the maximum third in my list of favorite series
I absolutely LOVE Max Ride!!!! But i don’t think Catherine should direct it cause i think that she didn’t do a good job with Twilight!!! Sorry guys! It was a good Movie, but let’s face it…It could have been better!!!
I read the first one and it was okay, but it has nothing on Twilight!

I read it the first book but i don’t like it much because when Max describes the pain she feels i feel like im getting hurt too its not comfortable reading… i only read half of the book cause while reading it my best friend gave me a Twilight book so i threw maximum ride away and started Twilight pronto… Twilight is much better than maximum ride (sorry!) because i dont know its just much better! Catherine directing it… i guess it wont be that bad…. im ok with that….
I haven’t heard of this, but I think I’ll check it out.
I totally with “Future Mrs.Hale”. Maximum Ride is a one of a kind AMAZING and FANTASTIC book. I really wouldn’t want to see it by the hands of Catherine(She should stick with vampires; It’s bad enough as it is). James Patterson(Personally one of the BEST writers of all time) has done an OUTSTANDING and MARVELOUS job. It would just SUCK and be such a disappointment to see it go down because someone didn’t direct it as it should have been directed. I should also say that Maximum Ride should be more of a T.V. series. It would be way better and more enjoyable(since there is more of it instead of a three two and a half hour movie that has to squeeze all of the greatness and miss stuff out).
To all you Twilight fans out there: One, you know the movies could have been better and Two, for those that read the book(s), how many details were cut off?
Back to my point, if there is anyone to be directing this MAGNIFICENT book(Maximum Ride), it should be someone with greater directing skills than Catherine. Again it should also be though of as an T.V. series too.
I really, REALLY love this book and have been hooked for four years now. I hope someone out there has better plans for it than Catherine.

It is actually offensive that it
would even be compared to such garbage.
I am OBSESSED with the Maximum Ride series.
Good God! Maximum Ride has a six year old that
is more independent than Bella!
And what SERIOUSLY pisses me off,
is that if Rob&Kristen play Max&Fang,
EVERYONE will have to go and see it,
and it will end up like Twilight did.
They are awful actors, and Katherine Hardwicke
and they rest of these lame Twilight
people should stay out of Maximum Ride period.

btw maximum ride was AWSOME i’ll still never forget the shadow series though,on of THE BEST series i’ve ever read. touching and yet adventurous.
