Ok i so i understand that he’s missing bigger projects because of his contracts with new moon and eclipse but come on !! Twilight is his breakout role , he cant just turn his back on the saga and all his fans ! UGH !!! that would be soo disappointing ! hmp !!

I agree. I love the books and the movie, but it just wouldn’t be the same without the original cast for the last movie.
Unless Rob has a twin brother, then there’s no way they can make breaking dawn without him. He IS Edward Cullen
He will not lose me as a fan for making that career move. He knows what is best for him and if you are a true fan you can understand that.
Now with that said I will not watch it though. I like when they have the same casting. But I am not going to hate of RPattz for it. I think he is awesome and it is completely his choice.

ok chill…Rob will prove that he’s more of an actor by sticking with the entire Twilight series. This isn’t James Bond where they can just switch 007 out each time and no one seems to care. This is Breaking Dawn and Stephenie Meyer has written 4 very distinctive books here and each one will have amazing directors and great potential to draw in new fans. I think anyone backing out of Breaking Dawn is afraid of screwing up the big show. It would be like having a winning football season and going fishing during the super bowl.
And just a thought….he’s so young. Who remembers that George Clooney got his big break on ER? Or Brad Pitt was that goon in Thelma and Loise? No one is going to care where Rob Pattinson came from….we just know he’s here.

It is a fictional book. It is a good book but fiction. I hope he sticks with it but it is not the end of the world. They may not even make Breaking Dawn as there has been no talk of even making the last book into a movie.
I really feel bad for Robert it seems not matter what he is going to do there is those that are going to go mad and insist that he is Edward Cullen. Maybe he wants to be more than just a cute face or a heartthrob. This is up to him and his true fans will stick by him not matter what he does. I am one of those fans. Of course, the Breaking Dawn movie **if made will not be the same**. And quite frankly without him they will lose there biggest promoter of the movie. Cause lets face it who does everyone currently want a piece of it is not Taylor or Kristin. Point blank there would not be this much of a stink if they recast them. And it has to be exhausting for Robert with all the insane psycho little girls screaming their heads off over a grown man. Asking him to *bite them* and more. I feel he may just want a break to work on something else that is closest to his heart. So give him a break. It wouldn’t be the same but like I say if you are a fan you will stand by his decision.

oh please… he’s claimed he doesn’t even like the character of Edward. I don’t even know why he accepted the part if he doesn’t like it. It’s his choice to leave and if he does, good riddance to him. Maybe they’ll get a better actor than him or even stop the movies. Personally, the twilight saga has made a mockery of vampire literature and has caused an uproar of overly sexually aroused tween-teen girls and loser twi-parents. Oh, and if you people can’t even accept that there’ll always be critics and opposites for the crap you like, then you’re not real fans.
I say please drop him out of the next two movies. I still haven’t watched new moon, because he is just downright fugly. No matter how much I liked the books I will not watch New Moon until it is free. He is so not worth my money. Edward was supposed to be HOTT. Twilight already sucked with him in it, I am sure New Moon will as well (considering I still have not watched the movie BECAUSE he is in it). I wish that the people making the movie had listened to the 75000 signatures AGAINST him playing Edward in the beginning. Then we wouldn’t have a bunch of tweens falling for a guy that never cleans himself, has NO muscle whatsoever, and is just the fugliest guy I have ever seen.
