i think victoria’s powers are cool and she is very pretty but why does she have to kill bella i like bella and edward.
Is Victoria even going to be in the movie? Just because she is only talked about and never actually “seen” in the book… you know? In Eclipse, obviously, she’s all over making armies and tracking Bella and her inevitable death at the hands of Edward, but what will she be seen doing in New Moon i wonder… anybody?
I think its possible Victoria will be in like a dream- state of bella’s. But im not sure if she’ll actually be the main focus point like Laurent. I don’t likke Victoria and I can’t wait til she dies in Eclipse. haha.

@Krissssstin – Victoria’s power is Evasion. Evasion is the ability to escape without getting caught. Since James’ ability is Tracking/Smelling, they have a similar relationship as Bella and Edward because Victoria is the only vampire who James cannot Track thanks to her ability of Evasion where she can escape his Tracking and being captured. Similar to Edward and Bella, as Bella is the only person who’s mind Edward cannot hear.
That’s how I understood it. I’ve only read Twilight and Midnight Sun so far, so I could misunderstood it. I’ll start New Moon today or tomorrow. I wish Stephenie will finish Midnight Sun!!! I enjoyed it way better than Twilight! I wish she would write New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn from Edward’s perspective! He gives so much insight into the Cullens and Bella’s peers. I never knew Edward could also see Alice’s visions. I never thought of it that way. Sorry for the Midnight Sun ramble!
Vitoria isn’t really even in mew moon the only time Bella sees her is on the water abd she isn’t even sure if it’s relly her.
I agree with you jt. I liked Midnight Sun because of the insight edward givesm and you learn so much about him in those 12 chapters. I actually read midnight sun before i even read twilight. It was pretty interesting to know what he was thinking when i was reading twilight. But about the commonalities between “james and victorias” relationship and “edward and bella” is very similar.
If Victoria was good i would like her. Victoria’s power-evasion- was said in the book as she always knows when or where it’s safe to be and to escape. Victoria is only in new moon when Bella knows that she saw her in the water. Her message from Laurent is though. Oh and tsa, if you read eclipse, James didn’t love Victoria the same way she loved him. He only wanted her around because of her gift (evasion). Edward would want Bella around whether she had a gift or not, so their relationships are in no way similar. How do I know that? In twilight when they were in the clearing Edward got a good look int o James’ mind and that’s how he found out.
I really hope they keep the part in the movie where Bella sees Victoria by the water after she jumps. That is a really big part in the story!!

And I definitely agree with yoou, I wish we could read all the books over again with EDWRD’S POV! MIDNIGHT sun (of what is there) is AMAZZING and I’d really love for Stephenie to finish it!!

Krisssstin i agree that victoria might be in one of bella’s dreams or something because the movies are never EXACTLY like the books so they might switch that up a little bit.

they will probably have a scene where victoria and laurent meet and discuss why he left them and will eventually purswade him to help her track down bella and after laurent is killed have a scene or two of her lurking far enough away so the wolves cannot pick up her scent and it will prbably end the way twilight ends with her leaving but this time headed for seattle to build her newborn army.
UGH!! know!! MIDNIGHT SUN IS PHENOMONAL!!!!!!!!! completely captivating! i love his point of view, and i especially want to see his version of new moon! i wish stephenie would start on it again!
I would TOTALLY buy Midnight Sun!! When I started reading it, I thought she put the entire book up on her sight. I was really bummed that it wasn’t finished. I mean I was curious as to why it was only half the length of Twilight. But she didn’t even get to the meadow scene in Midnight Sun
And I would love for her to expand on the chapter where Edward is in Denali with Tanya, she sounded fun!
Also, in Twilight, I didn’t pick up on Jessica’s jealousy of Bella. I remember Edward mentioning it. In Twilight, Jessica was one of my favorite characters, but after Midnight Sun, I didn’t like her so much after learning her true thoughts, or maybe I was just identifying with Edward’s feelings.
I also liked how Carlisle turned in Lonnie, the bad guy in Port Angeles. Midnight Sun really fills in the gaps in Twilight. Probably what I love most was reading the Cullens talking to Edward in his mind, like Alice bugging Edward about wanting to talk to Bella, and Rosalie screaming insults at Edward HA!
What’s great about Midnight Sun is, where Twilight was completely first-person perspective through Bella, Midnight Sun is more third-person perspective. Even though its writtin in first-person through Edward, thanks to Edward’s ability, he brings a third-person perspective by being able to tell what the others are keeping to themselves.
I’m starting New Moon tonight and I’ve heard Edward is missing most of the book. So it would be awesome if New Moon was rewritten from Edward’s perspective so we can find out what he’s been up to

I can’t wait ’til Nov. 20. I’ll be 7 months pregnant but I will stand in a big ass line just to see that movie. haha. =)
Read Twilight again. Bella knew Victoria was there when Jacob said something to her because the wolfs thought her and Laurent were together tell Bella told Jake that she is after her and that is when Jake takes her to the pack and they start protecting her and huanting so maybe that is when we see her.
On Stephanies offical site she says that Midnight Sun is her next project and I think it will be released probale after the movies are done because she is so busy
I agree with everyone as far as the finishing of Midnight Sun, Also with completing the other three books with Edwards perpective also. That would be so cool. I’m hoping Stephanie will be encouraged by her TG fans.
guys how Victoria is going to be in the movie when she is NOT in the new moon book??she is not just a common character that could be placed and nobody would care if she was in the book or not!!she’s a great villain and she is only mentioned in new moon so it will change the course of the books if she would appear in the 2nd instead for the 3rd that she’s actually in!!!
i havent read midnight sun but i read what jt said and i might read it but i dont think victoria has the coolest power and they dont have her in the book new moon only when bella was in the water after cliff diving but i like victoria a little but i want to see when she dies in eclipse
