nothing against robert pattinson and kristen stewart but if rob played Fang and kristen played Max they would mess the movie up. they were great in twilight. but rob cant play Fang not just age but once you read the books he could never get Fangs identity or his character in the book. and kristen just isnt a max again nat the age but how here character is in the book. its just they couldnt act the way Max and Fang do it would mess everything up if they plated anyone in the whole movie ecept poeple in the back round. its the truth for me at least.

Read the books, neither of them can play max and fang because of :
Age
Size
Looks
and ACTING
THey would never be able to pull the parts off.
READ THE BOOKS SERIOUSLY BEFORE JUDGING WHO WOULD BE GOOD AND NOT.
THis is another twilight series waiting. People will watch the movies and think they know the books. They aren’t even close.

Ok so they r gona ruin the book by making it a movie….. But casting robert patinson is just an outrage. I dont think i would watch or recomend that movie if that happened. He deffenitly cant be in the flock hes too old and crap. So he probably could play an eraser but deffenatly not a major role b/c none fit him!

Don’t get me wrong I love Robert Pattinson, but neither he or Kristin Stewart can play people in Maximum Ride. 1. THE PEOPLE IN MAXIMUM RIDE HAVE WINGS, NOT FEATHERS COVERING THEIR WHOLE BODY. 2. They are too old for the parts. 3. They are way too busy with twilight stuff. Oh and also Catherine Hardwicke- You better not mess this up. Ellen Page needs to play MAX and Elle Fanning needs to plays Angel. PLEASE go with the book. Don’t make this a totally different story. PLEASE do not ruin James Patterson’s book. Do not mix twilight with maximum ride.

I’m sorry, but Robert Pattinson would make an absolutely terrible Fang. Awful. He’s blonde, Fang has black hair. He’s pale, Fang has olive skin. And no, hair dye and a tan will just make it worse. Did I mention the huge age difference. No. Robert should stick with Twilight. Catherine Hardwicke can stick him in any other movie she wants, for all I care, I don’t have anything against the guy personally, he just needs to stay out of the MR movie, at least as Fang or any of the Flock.

If this is seriously true I’m going to kill someone. Maximum Ride is amazing and Fang can not be played by Robert Pattinson because:
1. He can not pull off playing a 14 year old
2. He can’t act, he’ll screw the whole thing up (no offense people)
3. He looks NOTHING like Fang and would look crap with black hair

I agree. I love Fang. The People whom Catherin chooses will cause me to send her a copy of the books and have her read them! Then is she still gets the idea to cast CRAPPY actors, revenge will be sweet. It will be like the Dragon Ball Z movie all over again. I loved the twilight BOOKS but I hated the movies. It brings out those who think they know the twilight series only because they have seen the movie and question what the hell we are saying when we ask questions pertaining to the books.
As I have said before, people who watch the movie know nothing about the books and therefore have not read them. This is exactly what is gonna happen with Maximum Ride.

If they cast RP as Fang, not only will it make Fang the “New Edward” but it will make him into a laughing stock. Okay, I’m not hugely sure how that works, but it will. And he’s (No Offence to any RP lovers out there) absolutely FUGLY. Seriously. I know that this is nearly 2 years after you originally posted your comment, but… Iggy is also the same age as Max and Fang. He’s just 3 months younger than Fang… or is it 5/6 ??
i think Taylor lautner would be great as one of the followers because he played a wolf in the twilight saga and i think he would be great for the part.
I am sorry but for all of those who say that that Robert would be good for Maximum Ride really need to look at the book and analyse the characters again. Even I can tell that neither Robert nor Kristen Stewart would work for Maximum Ride. There are a lot of reasons why that would NEVER WORK but I will not be the one to tell Catherine that. Maybe she shoud read the books herself first before she directs another movie based off a book and practically changes everything about.
For one, as was stated earlier, they have wings not feathers all over their bodies. Two, Robert Pattinson is too old to play any of the parts in the movie or the characters. Three, Kristen Stewart doesn’t even REMOTELY LOOK LIKE MAXIMUM RIDE.
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THE BOOKS, CHOOSE WISELY FOR CHARACTERS. I CAN’T STAND TO SEE ANOTHER SERIES I LOVE BE PUT INTO A WILL NOT WATCH IN MOVIE THEATERS CATAGORY AGAIN.

1. Catherine Hardwicke absolutely RUINED Twilight. It was NOTHING like the book.
2. Neither Rob nor Kristen can play the roles because:
-They are not the right age, or build of body.
-They cannot pull off the looks; Fang is an olive toned boy with long black hair. And, although they look old for their age, they still do not look as old as Rob and Kristen.
-They cannot pull off acting. Or at least in this movie. IT. WILL. NOT. WORK. I enunciate this so that you ACTUALLY pay attention to reason.
3. No offense to who wanted Ellen Page; I’m sure she would make a great older Max. BUT. Max is 14/15 all throughout the books. Ellen, however, is 20. And she is very pretty. But she also looks her age.
Maximum Ride starts off blonde, but in these later books it says she’s brunette. Either she died her hair or something XD
