An article at nydailynews.com says Joan Jett made Kristen Stewart Cry!!
According to the article, “Joan gave Kristen a hard time last week, causing the young starlet to burst into tears on set.
Says an insider, “Joan just wants Kristen to play an authentic version of herself, so she needled her a little bit too much. But she apologized when she realized how upset Kristen got.”
At least there’s no bad blood between the two. Says our insider, “They’re like mother and daughter now.”

I bet joan isnt the only reason she cried. She probably under alot of pressure, andd just feeling real stressed out that she needed a good cry and the yelling thing propably just made it all come out.

Awwww i feel bad for kristen! I do think a lot of it was pressure but i mean look at it: Shes doing her hardest to play some one in real life! That has to be super hard so I mean i would have probably cried if whoever i was playing did that to me… no offence to Kristen or Joan.

I kinda thought the same thing Jesse. I cant wait to see what was so special about Joan Jett and her life that they felt the need to make a movie out of it. Im sure Joan felt bad, she just wants it done right, but I feel bad for Kristen. Glad it worked out

If this story is true then I agree with emilee. In that business you have to have calloused skin to make it. Everyone knows that.
I’m glad Joan told Kristen something… Kristen is a horrible actor! Someone finally saw her constipated acting & told her like it is. I’ve never claimed to be a great actress so don’t start hating on me. But if someone wants to be a successful actor then they’d take lessons & whatever else it takes to be great. Kristen’s performances are all the same across the board. I’ve always thought that & voiced my OPINION on it. Maybe now she’ll try a little harder to be better at her job

In response to aliceann: I’m sure her agent(s) give her a variety of scripts to choose from. So yeah, it is her “fault” and her choice for these roles. If she didn’t like them then she wouldn’t audition. That’s my point-of-view on it. I have a friend who’s an actress and she’s always explaining how scripts and auditions and all that stuff works.
Maybe Kristen should consider doing something lighter and not so demanding. I’ve seen her movies and I’ve never been impressed by her. Sadly, she bores and annoys me. I wish she would work better and get to some acting classes to portray Bella so much better. I love that character and she just doesn’t do it justice.
But I’m glad you actually listen to others’ opinions and you don’t start saying silly things like I’m jealous, stupid, etc. LOL That’s just funny
It’s probably not just the whole acting/Joan thing. If she is human than she can’t act like a robot. Crying is a natural part of being human and like serena said she’s probably stressed out. I would be to if I had to live my life, Try my best to be a good actor, Be told I’m not good enough… What she needs is a good, normal night. To go out. Relax. I cry ALL the time. Plus being a woman can sometimes be a hardship despite the great things about it. Don’t worry Kristen I always understand. Anybody in emotional pain would be great around me… I’m not a therapist though. So don’t get any ideas just because I’m cool like that.

I’m not an author either but I’m on my way. I’m in the middle of chapter 4 in a book and so far it’s doing well. (My friends and family constantly ask me about it and like it)

I’m currently majoring in 19th Century Literature. Primarily, Victorian Horror Literature. I love it! I’m very into the supernatural world and the way you can just imagine and write a whole new world all to yourself.
Of course the books I write for my daughter are very “cutesey” and age appropriate for her. They’re mainly milestones that she’s reaching or will reach so she can understand things a little better. Right now we’re in the potty training stage. LOL So I made a book for that and even a dance. hehehehe My hubby is awesome. He got my books binded professionally at lulu.com

kristen is not that good in acting, i just can’t feel or see what she is trying to do, when she is sad or happy or mad, she just has the same face on. and it’s annoying. but i think she could be great if she trys harder.
still i dont see any other girl playing Bella, but i hope to see more passion from her.

to me bellas character in the book is so much different from the movie, and i like the book bella more. if kristin can be more like bella and show more emotion, then it would make me VERY happy. i wonder if this is a push that will make her think differently about how she should portray her characters. hmm….
I said it once and I will say it again: Kristen Can’t ACT!!! She deserved that earful. I would be pretty pissed if someone didn’t portray me the way I wanted to be portrayed. I don’t blame Joan one bit! I’m NOT trying to be mean, don’t get me wrong: I LIKE KRISTEN, I just don’t like HER ACTING. If she can’t handle being criticized, she can’t handle the movie business. You probably should have known i was going to say something negative about her from the very first LINE. And if she TRIED her best, then she is DEFINITELY a horrible actress. An actress that acts like THAT and is her “best” make for a horrible actress with a career going nowhere. Kristen may have her fans, but her movies are P-O-O-P! i mean im not to mad, but, it is just a movie, and i agree with some o fyou on the fact that it probably was all the pressure building up on kristen, and the incident b/w her and joan was just the icing to the cake. i think(for those of you who beleive in prayer) that we should just pray for kristen,and hopefully it is all behind them now, everyone has a bad day.
ohh and btw, joan also said that kristen has a great passion for guitar, which you can’t really be taught. not all bad here.
and since ya’ll are stating ur opinion, i’ll state mine. i’ve seen kristen in other movies besides twilight, and i think she play different roles pretty well. i think shes a good actress, and i don’t think my opinion is too biased, tho she plays bella

I’m sure Kristen is a good actress, but maybe she’s just trying too hard. Even Catherine Hardwick once said that she was too intense and she had to keep reminding Kristen to relax, smile and not be so serious. Apparently Kristen doesn’t listen or she just don’t know how to relax and have fun with what she’s doing 
Which is sad cause she has the role of a lifetime and she’s just digging it into the dirt.

I would be so happy if Summit decided to get another Bella. I’m sure there are lots of extremely talented girls out there hoping for the chance! Its hard to see Kristen playing a “lovey-dovey” role. She’s so masculine. :-/
I feel sorry for Kristen too. From the looks of all the on-set filming pics with Joan Jett in like every one, it seems like she’s a bit of a control freak. She seems hell bent on on making Kristen become “her”! She needs to chill out and remember there’s more to life than having someone play a perfect portrayal of you in a film. Oops! Maybe this is all she has going in her life! LOL!
@Kristin24: I agree 100% with you! She shouldn’t try so hard. She was okay in Catch that kid and the Messengers. I dont expect much from her, she is obviously not an Oscar-worthy actress that you can tell, but she could have some potential if she really tried…without trying so hard..you know?

Think about it: if someone was making a movie about you and your life and the actor/actress portraying you was making the character lifeless, completely her own, and nothing like the way you are or were, I’m sure you’d get upset as well. It must be difficult to see someone try to be you and do a horrible job – especially if that actress is supposed to be the new “IT” girl in the industry and she’s just not up to par. So I could see where Joan is coming from. At lease she apologized – people in this industry don’t care if they’re mean to someone else. You have to have a backbone and calloused skin to make it.

Joan is an incredible artist, and she had good intentions. Kristen was playing her, and it makes sense that she would be a bit tough. She did, however, go a bit too far, but it was all for a good cause. I don’t feel bad for Kristen and i’m not angry at Joan. Kristen did an incredible job in The Runaways, and it was all thanks to her effort and Joan’s fantastic coaching.
Sad for Kristen, but I would be honoured if Joan Jett made me cry.
