Attention Readers: Twilight Guide under Renovation

Time to don your construction hats cause you have just entered the construction zone!! For the rest of the night Twilight Guide will be undergoing a renovation!

We have been up and running for a year now and we decided it’s time to revamp the look of the site. For the past week Jamey and I have been working on a new layout for the site. I think it looks great and I am very excited to have it finally come to fruition.

We will be working on transferring over the new look tonight, so because of the transition you might experience some technical difficulty while visiting the site. We have to transfer everything and make sure everything is working properly with the new layout.

So what’s that mean? Well me and Jamey up all night working out the bugs. And it may mean there will be interruption at times for viewing the site as a whole or parts of it. We are hoping the transition runs smoothly and their won’t be much down time, but you never know how these things may go.

So if you come to visit and something isn’t working don’t worry. By morning everything should be working fine and we will have a brand new look to premiere. I think you all are really gonna like or at least I hope you do because we have been working very hard on it.

Reelz Channel Coverage of TwiCon

Reelz Channel is at TwiCon in Dallas and they have a whole page dedicated to the event. They have articles on the event, tons of videos on their 360° Cam and tons of photos of the event.

You can check all their great content out on their TwiCon 2009 Page.

They will be updating the page all weekend. They will be having live video streaming on their 360° Cam of the cast autograph sessions (10:30 – 11:30 AM CST) and the Volturi Masque Ball (8:30 – 9:30 PM CST) on Saturday.

I posted the one above, because we all know I’m Team Jacob. The one below is by Andy Mink. You may recognize it. It won 2nd place in the fan-made New Moon poster contest we had here on the site.

Twilight-themed Etch a Sketch Contest

4TNZ posted this picture of the flower from the cover of the New Moon book that someone drew on a Etch a Sketch. Wow! Talent. I couldn’t ever draw anything cool on those things when I was younger.

The picture has inspired them to run a contest.
Here is what they say:

“In fact, we’re so blown away, we’re creating a challenge: Send us YOUR own Twilight-themed Etch a Sketch and we’ll post the best ones on this site with your name on it!”

Vampires take over the EW

Vampires have taken over the EW. Edwrad Cullen from Twilight and Bill Compton from True Blood grace the cover this week. Stephenie Meyer Gets A Comic Book

That’s right, Stephenie Meyer is getting a comic book. The Stephenie Meyer issue of Female Force will cover her biography and rise to stardom as the author of Twilight. There is a regular version and a bonus edition that includes the history of Forks, WA. The comic is available for pre-order from TFAW. Check it out here.
