MTV has an article talking about if Tom Felton could play Riley in the Eclipse movie?
Tom plays Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies.

Hmm, I don’t know. I like Harry Potter but I don’t think Tom is right for the part. Like I think if people saw it, all they would be able to think about when they see Riley is “Omg! thats draco from Harry Potter!” and it might ruin the character of Riley.
I think he would make a good Riley but he needs to gain more mussle !!!! Like a lot more !
I think it would be nice for Robert and Tom to work together again. Also I agree that he would be a good choice for the part. So what if he’s in all the Harry Potter movies, Rob was in two of them himself and no one had a problem with that! As for the movie I think he would do just fine. So let it be I say!!!

Chill people. Twilight is way to big to be ruined if a well know actor or a HP actor gets casted. Come on-they casted Dakota and Michael Sheen-I don’t think it’s gonna ruin New moon just because they were casted. And Rob did play Cedric in HP4&5. Tom getting the role is a good thing. Plus give the guy a chance. He’s a great actor and cute too and he’s not like a huge actor. He plays a supporting role in HP. I think Tom would do just fine as Riley.
Tom Felton is exactly how I imagined Riley to be. And no he will not ruin Twilight just caz he’s a part of the Hp cast. I don’t remember twilight being ruined just caz Rob was cast. If I remember correctly most people said crap about him when they announced he was playing Edward. Oh yea and now look at those who said “he’s scruffy and disgusting”. Oh brother.

I can’t believe some people are like he’s a wizard and so he can’t be a vamp. I can’t help it but I’m gona say Tom. I was glad Summit casted Dakota as Jane for New Moon. I hope they cast Tom as Riley too. I too would love to see Tom and Rob work together.

seeing it from a directors point of view even if Tom was a good actor he would not look good standing next to Rachelle who looks more mature than he is, i believe she is in her mid to late 20′s it would not look right having Riley be a 17 year old boy. Riley is suppose to look like Emmet and pass for a guy in College not high school. i know deep down everyone knows this is a fact and shouldnt let the fact that he’s HP make the choice for them. Rachelle should be cast with someone her age or that can pull off that older mature look and i really feel that Tom has to much of a baby face and body to pull Riley off.

Yeah, I think he will do very well! When I was a little younger, I was a really really BIG fan of Thomas Andreas Felton, and I knew everything about him. I like his acting style and I think he’s pritty good for Riley!
