The Love of Harry Potter and Twilight
Like many other people today me and my step-son went out and saw the new Harry Potter Movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. We have had a Harry Potter marathon all week so we were excited for the movie. We loved it, by the way. Way better than the last Potter movie. Can’t wait till the next one.
Did anyone else see it yet? Did you like it?

I have never like harry potter, im just one of those crazy obsessed twilight fans!!!
I have been a potter fan since I was made to read it in a Children’s Literature class in college. I have loved it since. I am looking forward to watching the movie Thursday afternoon!
I’ve been having a Harry Potter weekend too. ABC Family had the first 5 movies on…and then I caught “Order of the Phoenix” on HBO. I wanted to make sure I got everything fresh in my mind so when I see “Half Blood Prince” I will know where things left off.
yea i saw it omg i have 2 favorites now i liked the 4th movie and now the half blood prince… i have always been a fan of the harry potter movies and books
i saw the movie at midnight July 15th. It was amazing. Of course, there were things weird and not like in the book, but it had to happen we cant cpoay-and-paste from book to movie. This movie was way better than the fifth one, which, according to me, was a joke, an awful thing that wasn’t even worth watching . the sixth was great, dialogs were great from book to movie. and the cast was SO amazing! Tom Felton and Jim Brodbent ‘ve been the best. its also a way more funny movie than the others.
I saw the new HP at the midnight premier with my kids and it was great. Not my favorite in the series but still a great movie. I reccomend it to anyone who loves HP…really though I cant wait till November
I used to be obsessed with Harry Potter! LOL I worked on a fan site (Rupert-Grint.net) and had the biggest crush on Rupert (Ron Weasley).
But now I’m just a really big fan of the Potter series. Book 3 is my absolute favorite. Only because Harry meets his godfather.
The movies are alright. Although, Half-Blood Prince is the best movie by far! I cried at the end (no spoilers). But those of you who know, I still get sad.
Anyway, YAY for Harry Potter and Twilight fan. Glad we can be both on this site
I saw the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince midnight premiere and I like it. I just think they needed to put more action on the final battle!
it was great!!! i just felt that ginny and dumbledore had some awkward lines. oh and we got the new moon trailer!!!! all the girls in the crowd went crazy, it was so great
I saw it at the midnight release and I thought it was amazing! I’m a new HP fan. I just read the books last month and have been catching up on all the movies in the last couple of weeks. Half Blood Prince was probably my favorite book and I think it was the best movie so far. I loved all the humor they put in it!
i may a twilight fun but i also like harry potter and i cant wait see the next one!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with Selene, the battle at the end needed to be.., well.. more. Overall, the movie was awesome. This book is much darker than the rest so I can see how some people would be upset. My advice to those people is – read Deathly Hallows immediately and don’t stop until you get to the end.
OME!!!! i saw it last night and it was SO good. i hadn’t read the book but i knew what was going to happen. but, it was still excillent. and i also did a recap of the movies before hand and it helped alot. they did a good job and this one is tied with the forth ( heehee!) for my favorite movie.
OME saw the new Potter flick. It was really good. I think they left alot of the book out though. it was very funny and sad at the same time because if you read the book you know what happens at the end. the battle at the end wasnt what i expected. there was only 1 major BOOM and in the book there were several. still 5 stars
I love both Harry Potter and The Twilight Saga, so my brother and I went to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, and the New Moon trailor played before the movie! I was freaking out! It was SO awesome!!!!
I Saw the first showing of the new Harry Potter Movie yesterday at 8.30am.
I Loved the movie it was fantastic and i have to say it was the best Harry Potter movie made.
But Twilight is the way forward!!!!
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince…It was good, but it could have been better! The book was amazing so I was looking for the movie to be amaizing also. It was just ok. They kind of drug out the first half and rushed the second half. No funeral for Dumbledore was very disappointing and not enough of the Harry/Ginny relationship was included. All in all it was good, but not good enough!!!
I am going to see it with my dad, who is a huge HP fan like me, on Saturday!
I saw it on monday in an advance screening and it was ok. Somebody actually said twilight sucked at that premier! Oh she is so on my revenge list!
I went last night and I’ve have to say it was better then the other one. I’m thinking on buying the harry potter movies now. I cant wait for the next one that’s when a few other people die and alot of action.

I went to see harry potter last night and that was one of the best movies in the world!!!!!! I LOVED IT
Did u know Ron had swine flu? (he’s recovered now) And the other week Daniels stunt double was shot? Im watching the movie next week. The odeon is only doing previews from 8.00 and if ur not over 16 u cant enter the cinema without an adult after 7.00pm an am going with my friends
I haven’t see HP yet but I totally will. Really love HP movies and books; I surely believe that you can like both
(Although I love twilight more) And I am 100% sure it will be a great movie, I’m gonna go see it this weekend

I have to say, my fiancee and I saw the new Harry Potter at a midnight showing on Tuesday night. We were somewhat disappointed. The Order of the Phoenix and Goblet of Fire were much better. However, I do understand that this was pretty much a segway into the 7th film and there was a lot to be explained, especially since they have to try and have the movie appeal to those who have and have not read the books. I am planning to see it again with one of the little boys I babysit, so we’ll see if my opinion changes after the second time.
Anyone who has also read the books noticed the lack of battle at Hogwarts when the Death Eaters break in. Also, the burrow burning down was a question among the movie goers that night.
All in all, it was good just seemed lacking. In my opinion they spent so much time in the building that they had to cut out a lot of the ending. But, regardless it was still decent. I laughed, I cried and am still crazy about Harry Potter!
My daughter & I won tickets to the VERY FIRST showing of Half Blood Prince..We saw it Monday, July 13the at 7pm…It was AWESOME !!! The movie, the maturity level of the actors – SNAPE, DRACO, Lavender and all the leads. It was a great movie. WE CAN”T wait for the DVD and the next one. But I’m also dying for NOVEMBER to get here so we can drool over Edward and JAcob…Team threesome YEAH !!!
Teamedwardgurl —I TOTALLY agree !! I had EXACTLY the same comments to tell my older daughter when I got home… Where was the BIG FIGHT ??I was so looking forward to it and what’s with burning up the burrow? What are they gonna do for the next one? And what about Fluer & Charlie? The wedding?…
But the movie was still good in and of itself…I also want to go check it out again and to see how I fee after a second showing…Maybe I was just TOO excited.

I just saw the movie today and I thought it was ok. I liked seeing the New Moon teaser trailer again, its even better on the big screen! I really enjoy the hp series, but I haven’t read the books yet. That being said, I felt like the movie was all over the place and that I was just getting summaries of what took place in the book. To me, the movie didn’t flow well enough for someone who hasn’t read the book, and left out too much of the harry/ginny relationship that I sensed was more intense in the book. But it was still a good movie, great visuals.

My daughters and I have seen Harry Potter and the half blood prince and we absolutely loved it…did you know that the last bood Harry Potter and the deathly hallow will be filmed in two parts? I have considered myself a HP and Twilight geek…the thing I do like about HP verses Twilight is that the movies are made exactly to the book opposed to Twilight it deviated from the book…I hope that new moon will not that way…
