According to Just Jared the character of Riley has been cast for Eclipse.
Riley will be played by Australian actor Xavier Samuel.

Haven’t heard confirmation from Summit yet, but several sources are claiming this casting news. We will have to wait to see for sure.
This guy is cute, but I was pulling for Tom Felton from Harry Potter.

Its true. It was on 2day FM radio just then. They actually spoke to him in LA and he confirmed it. He said that he only found out today.
uh isnt riley blond… I always pictured him blond if he is or isnt… and I thought tom was a great choice or would that just b too much 4 rob?

Just because Riley has blond hair in the book and this guy doesnt isnt a big deal. HAIR DYE!! If Nikki Reed can sit in a salon for 36 hours to make herself blond for the movie, I dont think this will be a good deal. He was picked so Im sure they know what they are doing, I think he looks the part!!

Whether Summet will confirm that he will be the one playing Riley, I don`t mind. I think he suits the role well. But still, I do hope for Tom Felton.

I hope this guy knows he has to go blonde. Riley is described as having blonde hair. Hopefully he wont have to endure what Nikki Reed had to in order to go blonde.
Actually Jess, Kristen is a wells seasoned actress. She’s been in a number of movies with big name actors. She was definately on the radar… why do you think she was one of the first chosen parts for the movie? And I’m glad they didn’t choose Tom!
I agree Tina. She is a great little actress. Has anyone seen CAKE EATERS? Terrible movie, but she did a great job. She played a girl with a muscular/nuro disability. She was great. I think we will see alot more of her, at least I hope we will.

Eh, I dont think Tom Felton is cute [[no offense to anyone]]. They can just dye this guy’s hair. Its NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL when it comes to that like TEAM CARLISLE said before!!! I like him better than Tom and Tatum [[he tho I would love to see him on screen anywhere! lol]] I think hes a good pick, dont really know about him and in mi opinion a kind of a good balance between tom and channing. Im just trying to say Im satisfied.

But we only comment about what articles that Leandra post, I guess thats why no one is talking about Seth and Leah,they are both important rolls.
