ET: There is a fourth book. Will the franchise continue?
Melissa Rosenberg: I can’t imagine Summit letting that go. Right now we are focused on ‘Eclipse.’ We are just about to start. I imagine there will be discussions.

i hope the script for new moon is better than the one in twilight.
twilight was supposed to be a love story and it didn’t seem like one to me, if you notice edward and bella never say “i love you” once through out the whole movie. sure they say “you are my life now” and “i’d rather die than stay away from you” which are still pretty strong words but theres nothing like saying i love you!
i REALLY dont like melissa rosenberg. im sorry but she absolutly ruined twilight. i dont like her. im a die-hard twi-crack addict and im mad that the movie is so different form the book. i know that movies cant be the book but it could have been close. but NO-OO-OOO!
i feel like they r keeping BD under wraps, for some reason???
like she said, right now, they r focused on eclipse…but they r about to film it!!!shes the writter, her job is (mostly) done! when they were filming new moon, she was writting eclipse!! so, she should b writing BD now, right?? or is this interview old??
I wonder how old this interview is being that BD was mentioned as “there is a fourth book…” Uh, yeah it came out over a year ago. I’m sure Summit is going to make this movie. This Saga is their money-maker.
Although, they’ve surprised me many! time by casting some actors, keeping on this horrible screen writer, breaking contracts and so forth. If not, I hope WB picks it up. They do wonders with their movies and have a budget to work with. Just look at Harry Potter!
