i know i cried like crazy the first time i read the book that book was depressing buit i am dying 2 c the movie only 62 days left thou but now im rereading the book and its not as depressing

It was the saddest thing to read when Edward left Bella. It was harsh, but Edward had to be or he could never leave her. He felt he was doing what was best for her, however painful it was for him. The way Edward felt about Bella would never change. His main concern was Bella, living in the proximity of vampires was so dangerous for her..it was working out. Even though he left her unprotected, he didn’t realize the danger he left behind. If Edward had stayed, I think the relationship between Bella & Jacob wouldn’t have materialized because Edward would be there to protect Bella. The entire story would have changed…there would be no Volturi, and that is one of the best parts of the story.

i cried too, like ALL OF YOU. haha. i hated the breakup so much, the second time i read it, i skipped all the jacob chapters and went ahead to when they were in italy…haha…it made the book wayyyyyyy better. lol.

IS TILL CRY EVERY TIME I READ THE BOOK BUT IT WAS AN UNSELFISH REASON WHY HE LEFT IT WAS A LITTLE HARSH BUT BELLA WASNT GOING TO LET GO AND EVEN WHEN HE SAYS HE DOSENT WANT HER YOU KNOW THAT HE IS IN PAIN TOO AND I THINK ITS MESSED UP THAT JACOB IS SO MEAN TO EDWARD I MEAN IM SURE IF JACOB WAS IN THE SAME SITUATION HE WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME THING. i still cry everytime i read that scene, though i’ve read it like 10 times. bad edward he was so harsh, but he didnt like doing it he was in pain too, and he really paied for this mistake when he found out that bella loves jacob too.
oh well its fair dont u think? if i were bella n edward never came back i would choose to stay with jacob for sure!

I too cried my eyes out. I feel that Edward was harsh. He was putting his family first. Which is hard in any seniro. I just couldn’t believe he left her b/c he promised he never would. At least he maned up and did it, I feel that a phone break up would be 10xs worse. If I was Bella I would have a hard time trusting him again. But as long as shes happy then all is well and the rest of the books are just as good. Cant wait for the movie….ahhhh…I will also be bringing tissues.
