MTV has some more coverage of the Twilight Convention in New Jersey. This time they talk about the Q&A session with wolf pack members Kiowa Gordon, Alex Meraz and Chaske Spencer.
Here is an excerpt from the article:
“I decided, all right, the Wolf Pack stay up all night looking for who’s killing people on the res, so we don’t sleep very much. So I thought it would be a great idea if I stayed up for 10 days straight.” What should have been a simple scene — a confrontation between Bella (Stewart) and the Wolf Pack — became, in Meraz’s mind, his “Brando moment.” Wanting to try something different, the actor played the scene overly aggressive: screaming, grabbing Stewart by the throat, hurtling his line at her.

MTV also has an article talking about Edi Gathegi’s Q&A session at the convention. You can read that article here.
Here is an excerpt from the article:
When asked whether his character’s penultimate showdown was more of a fight or a chase, Gathegi remained mostly mum, but did concede that it was hard acting with something that wasn’t there. “We basically acted with a man holding a piece of cardboard shaped like a cow. So when you see the movie, look at my eyes and [decide], is he seeing a cow or is he seeing a wolf?”
oh, wow. ya know, im gonna go back and watch the trailer again, and this time, im gonna look at his eyes and be like, “okay. hes seeing a cow. interesting.” i really hope i forget about this before i see New Moon, otherwise its gonna be, like, this super-dramatic scene, aqnd im just gonna burst out laughing in the middle of the theater. lol
totally agree with you Patty.
hahaha! patty, you are so right.
awww that was so cute!!!!!!!!!!I’M EXCITED
I was at this convention and had a fantastic time. All of the celebrities were really funny and answered lots and lots of questions. We got all their autographs and photos with them. Can’t wait till next year.
so the more I read Alex’s comments, the more I think they are adding a twist in the movie regarding more action on the reservation. Sounds to me like there are some unexplained deaths on the res (likely Victoria). That would be cool. Not neccessarily something that happened in the book, but definitely something to pump up the action in the movie! I can’t wait for November!
lol!!
