You can check it out here.

Here is a short excerpt from the interview:

She didn’t bother trying to find some redeeming characteristic in Jane, she says. ‘‘She’s pretty much evil,’’ Fanning says with a laugh. ‘‘Yes, she may feel like she’s just doing her job by torturing people, but that’s evil.’’

Make sure you check out the pictures. She looks gorgeous!

Official TWILIGHT Fan Conventions

Los Angeles, CA August 17, 2009 – Summit Entertainment and Creation Entertainment today announced a partnership to produce a series of Official TWILIGHT Fan Conventions over the next three years.

The unprecedented success of both the Twilight novels by Stephenie Meyer and the feature film adaptation of the first book has created a worldwide following of passionate fans who are eagerly awaiting the release of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, the second movie in Summit’s TWILIGHT film franchise, which will be released theatrically in North America on November 20, 2009.

The Official TWILIGHT Fan Conventions will offer attendees the unique opportunity to involve themselves in all aspects of THE TWILIGHT SAGA. The weekend gatherings will feature on-stage appearances by TWILIGHT celebrities, exclusive footage screenings, panel discussions, TWILIGHT themed parties, musical performances, costume and trivia competitions, auctions, autographing, merchandising, and photo opportunities. The major online TWILIGHT fan websites, including www.twilightlexicon.com and www.twilightMOMS.com, will be participating with special presentations at stops on the convention tour.

Erin Ferries, VP of Creation Entertainment, said, “It is a delight to be involved with the tremendous excitement that surrounds THE TWILIGHT SAGA. The fans are incredibly knowledgeable about the property and have used the story as a springboard for their own creativity. The Official TWILIGHT Fan Conventions will allow attendees the chance to show off their TWILIGHT inspired artwork, writing, costumes, filmmaking, and music with thousands of their fellow fans. While the conventions will offer fans the chance to cheer for their favorite actors they are equally about gathering with like-minded folks and forming friendships based on a common devotion. We can’t wait to bring some of the magic of TWILIGHT live to cities around the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom!”

“The fans of THE TWILIGHT SAGA continue to be incredibly supportive of the film franchise and we wanted to find a way to allow them to immerse themselves in the films and the characters in a much more interactive setting,” said Nancy Kirkpatrick, President of Worldwide Marketing of Summit Entertainment. “The Official TWILIGHT Fan Conventions will offer incredible opportunities to get up close to the characters which they have grown to love.”

Article on Chris

Rotten Tomatoes has an in depth article on New Moon director Chris Weitz.

They talk about his career and include statements about Chris from Taylor Lautner, Wyck Godfrey, Melissa Rosenberg and Rachelle Lefevre. You can read the entire article here.

Here is what Taylor had to say about Chris:

Taylor Lautner on Weitz: “What I love about Chris is, the set is very calm and we’re just having a lot of fun making the movie. And then you sit back and you look at the results that are happening, and it looks amazing so far. I’m so excited to see it. And you just sit back and see what’s going on, and you’re like, ‘How are we having such an easygoing, relaxed time making this movie, and it’s turning out the way it is?’ At the same time, the conversations with Catherine — she just related to us so well. So does Chris. They’re both talented directors, and I’m thankful that I had the opportunity to work with both of them.”

One of our Readers at 100 Monkeys Signing

One of our readers, bellaaaaaa, went to a CD signing for 100 Monkeys.

Here is what she had to say about the event:

Today I was lucky enough to get to go to the 100 Monkey’s signing for they’re new CD. I got some pictures from the event but here’s the thing, we get there at 9 in the morning to get our wristbands and the lady is telling us all this stuff about it and then she says, “O and Jackson is in Vancouver about ready to film Eclipse so he can’t be here today but when he was at the TCA, he signed a bunch of posters for us here. All you have to do is buy the CD and you get the signed poster.” So I bought the CD and got the signed photo! :) Then, we came back at 1:45ish for the signing. We had to wait about 45 minutes for them to show up but then, they got there. They were all so nice and said sorry and everything. There wasn’t a lot of people there which was kinda surprising (but they probably all wanted Jackson to be there.) So I go up and one of the guys personalized it for me. They were all so sweet.

Twilight Cake

This was sent by our readers, Shauna and Aubrey. I think this is one of the best Twilight cakes I have seen. The cake was for Aubrey’s 12th birthday and was made by her aunt.
