Author accusing Stephenie of plagiarizing “Breaking Dawn”

Some people have sent us emails about news popping up over the net about an author accusing Stephenie Meyer of plagiarizing Breaking Dawn.

For those who haven’t heard the story here is the short version:

An author, Jordan Scott , claims that Stephenie plagiarized concepts and passages from her 2006 book The Nocturne.

Now I am going to send you on over to Twilight Lexicon to get all the details on what is going on. They have posted some amazing posts on the situation including some research they conducted and a statement from Stephenie Meyer’s representatives.

Arson at Forks High School

Forks Forum has an article about arson at Forks High School.

Apparently a planter box located near the Forks High School Spartans sign was set on fire early Monday morning. The sign is a popular photo spot for Twilight fans.

The Forks police department says they have a “person of interest” in the case.

That’s just sad. I don’t understand why anyone would won’t to burn anything down.

Rachelle’s charity store opens

The Twilight Examiner has an article talking about Rachelle Lefevre’s ebay charity store opening today. The charity benefits Breast Cancer Research.

The first item she has up for auction is a signed Twilight soundtrack CD, The CD has signatures by Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart, Ashley Greene, Peter Facinelli, Nikki Reed, Kiowa Gordon, Michael Welch, Christian Serratos, Anna Kendrick, Elizabeth Reaser, Billy Burke, and Rachelle on it.

When I wrote this it was already going for $660 and it has 6 days left. Looks like Rachelle is going to make some major money for the charity! You can view the auction on Ebay here.
