Statement From Chris about the Volturi Nude Scene?

So remember when Jamie Campbell Bower did an interview with MTV and he talked about the Volturi nude scene. In the article he explained it was a scene where the Volturi were actually in a Roman Bathhouse. Well Twilight Lexicon has the following statement from Director Chris Weitz assuring everyone that Jaime was just being humorous and everyone has their clothes on in New Moon. I didn’t think they were like all nude in the scene, but I was totally digging the whole bath scene with the bad vamps. Jaime is very convincing isn’t he? He acted so serious.
Anyways here is the statement from Chris:
“Dear all,
I would like to put everyone’s mind at rest and let them know that the
Volturi are not naked! Jamie (Campbell-Bower) has what you might call a
dry sense of humor and almost managed to convince me — which is why he’s
such a good actor. Anyway, be assured that, even though we do want the
look of the Volturi to be a bit of a surprise, they are always — as in
the book! — fully clothed.

O.k. readers put away your hard hats! The renovation is complete. Welcome to the new look of Twilight Guide! We worked really hard on this and we hope you all like it.
We are pretty sure we have all the bugs worked out and everything should be working. If anyone encounters any problems please let us know.
We already received some questions about the Edward Icons beside the comments. These are gravatar’s. Gravatar.com is where you get one. It’s linked to your email so any site that supports gravatars will display comments that use that email address. You will see the link for it above the comment box. Go there to customize your own icon.
We also have a new section called, New Moon Graphics, on the sidebar. Right now it just has the movie pictures included, but I have the rest of the graphics for it. We just didn’t have time to update them yet. Look for them in a couple of days. There is some really cool stuff included like banners, icons, character graphics and quote banners all from New Moon.
In the coming weeks we will also being updating our gallery adding more pictures of the cast including all the new actors for New Moon. We will also be adding a section which will contain a summary of the plots of all 4 books. And a new general character guide and bio section will be added to the site. I have wanted to do this for a while and have been working on them. It will be general information at first then I will add more detailed summaries as time goes on.
