It’s worse than I thought! Must every woman in the world who reads these books of FICTION turn into such “fans”??? I have never seen anything else that programs a woman’s brain sooo much – its a tragic thing really… Men around the world are being TWILIGHTED by their wives and girlfriends… I hope you all are STRONG – fight the urge to TWILIGHT yuor men… join us in the fight – share your thoughts! Start a support group for your husbands – and particiapte in the solution. HusbandsAgainstTwilight.com

All I can say is that if you feel so insecure in yourself that you feel threatened by FICTIONAL characters, then I suggest you get professonal help! If anything, Twilight helps us see some of the characteristics we all want in a man…..loving, devoted, compassionate, caring, protective (sparkly is optional). BUT, we can also see the negatives. We admit, Edward can be controlling, over-bearing, and manipulative. But all men have flaws, and we DO recognize this. :)

After looking up the website mentioned in Eric’s post, I wish to revise my previous post….slightly. Eric, I apologize for calling you insecure, but I would like to say that if a movie was able to break up your marriage, then then there were other, underlying problems (known or unknown). The movie was simply the catalyst used to define them. I myself am happily married, and have no intention of leaving/cheating on my husband. He is a wonderful man, and I love him dearly. He simply sees Edward as “something to strive for”…..but I also understand that he could never be perfect. Please, for your sanity and that of your children….get professional help for all of you in dealing with this breakup.

          Dianne,

If you went to my site – you’ll note I have been married for 11 years – the site is obviously satirical in nature and is designed as a place to vent a little and reflect on perhaps other less strong women than you who have indeed been affected by this series. Hey – its a guy thing I think. I dont expect to be divorced because of my wife reading this book… but… we’re only at number 4 book and headed for number 2 movie… so…

Smile a bit lady – read our forums when we get them live – I’d love to have some folks like you provide proof of my concept… heck.. its much more than my concept… google “husbands against twilight” or “twilight widower” or “twilight boyfriend” and you’ll beging to see that what I am saying is not ALL that far fetched… a bit sarcastic – ok – a LOT sarcastic – but all in good fun…

By the way – where can we get edible prints to put on a cake – I think I’d like to (gag) give my wife something like this on a date night… for giggles of course…

Seroisuly – some of us are taking our adventure, fiction or otherwise novels a bit too far… don’t you think?

Aww! So cute! I <3 you Bella and Edward!(Alice, Emmett, Jasper, Rosalie, Esme, Carlisle and Renesmee, too.)

  15. Jessica says:

I was the one who designed the cake and it came out amazing. Of course I had to eat Edward’s crotch which wasnt my choice since I am a Jasper/ Jacob girl, but still the cake was yummy.
