Well, everyone knows that nobody in this world could play Edward Cullen as good as Robert Pattinson BUT the girl does say “If you HAD to pick..” so if I absolutely had to pick someone else I think I like the french guy, he looks kinda vampirey. Lol. I haven’t seen him act, not heard him talk but he looks the part.
But as I said, no one could ever replace Rob.

I have to say,I’ve seriously given it a lot of thought (even though I’m sure no on else has) and I gotta tell ya, everyone is right, no one else could play Edward! Robert P. NAILED IT! He’s the perfect Edward. If the were to remake this in 20yrs (HEAVEN FORBID) I wouldn’t even allow my children to see it. RP-the one true and only Edward!

Gosh! I personally do not think Rob is good-looking enough to be Edward(don’t hate m, it is only my opinion!)And the video was WRONG! Tyson Ritter has some acting experience! Gosh! I like Robert as “Cedric Doggory” not “Edward Cullen”. Tyson Ritter is great! Great! GREAT!
hm i know in germany their are a lot of girls who have the same opinion that rob is nit good-looking enough and so they love the books but hate the movie :/ but i have to say to this girls it is impossible to find a actor that everyone thinks oh yes this is the perfect edward for me. it is a problem that edward is described as such a perfect boy in the books because in the real life nobody can be so perfect.

I also meant to say that for our awesome twilight saga movies, I would never want anyone to take Rob’s place. He’s perfect as Edward.
I personally think Rob is a good Edward Cullen, but I also think there would be a couple better actors to play Rob Pattinson. I think most of us have gotten used to Rob being Edward in twilight,and thats what causes everyone to say Rob no matter what. I honestly think there could be a way better Edward, but Rob isnt bad. Go team Jacob!

They forgot to mention that Jackson was one of Stephenie’s top choices for Edward. I know he makes a PERFECT Jasper, but I think he could’ve pulled off Edward too. He’s just too pretty.

rob is good cause we have all grown to love him but if you gave me that line up BEFORE rob had been cast i would have said chase crawford just because he is beautiful, and absolutly drop dead sexy. thats all.

My Opinion is that:
Nobody can replace our beloved Edward!
But if he had rejected the role i think Chace Crawford would make a good Edward.
henry would be good if he didn’t look older, but there is nobody else that could be edward like robert. but if somebody had to be chosen it would be Ed Westwick from gossip girl, because when edward and bella go to prom and he says the line ‘and you’re ready right now’ that look of robert from his left side looks kinda like Ed Westwick from his left side.. but it still wouldn’t have been the same without Robert he is and will always be the best and only Edward Cullen!!
