The Twilight Examiner has an article on Kellan Lutz in his new movie a remake of the classic slasher flick A Nightmare on Elm Street. The movie hits theaters April 30, 2010.
Besides Pinhead, Freddy is my favorite slasher killer. Can’t wait to see this movie. It looks scary good!!!

So what was it like filming the Nightmare on Elm Street remake?
Freddie scared me growing up. I watched a lot of horror movies with my dad and my brother. There’s something about Freddie Kruger attacking you in your sleep that terrified me. I mean, that’s probably why I only get four hours of sleep a night, I hardly dream. And having the chance to be a part of this movie, and it’s a psychological thriller versus some bloodbath, I’m blessed. I’m the guy that you want to root for in this because he’s a good guy having these problems because he can’t sleep, and he sees Freddie when he sleeps, so he just stays up.

…I think Freddy was scarier back in the day. He scared the CRAP out of me back then!! Still looks pretty good though!!!

why is everyone so "happy" & in such a hurry, to have the number one comment ?
It’s like when you were a kid and after recess you had line up to go inside and everyone would rush to be first in line. At least that’s how it was for me…
Its just something that spurred up online with the access to comment on articles, kinda like a little social game. Besides there’s something special about being the first to comment and beating everyone else out for the #1 spot, you’re guarenteed to be read by whomever goes to comment!
P.S.- @Leandra, I LOVE that you added the reply feature to your commenting! The old method was so 2008!

Totally agree Pinhead and the cenobites are my favorite of all time, the first Hellraiser wasn’t that good, in my opinion, but the sequels were sweet
I loved the origional Nightmare On Elm Street and I can not wait to see the remake…..Kellan Lutz being it just makes it more worth going to see!

Did anyone else notice the scene where the girl is on the bed screaming and the brother/bf/whatever was trying to wake her up, and then she flew up in the air, right before she dies… isn’t that how Johnny Depp died in the original? He flies up and then gets swallowed in the bed followed by the blood fountain.
Michael Bay is directing it, I wonder if there will be a lot explosions?

I’ve never seen it before but it looks pretty cool. Do you think I should watch the original one first before I watch this new one? I’ve heard that Freddy is pretty scary but I’d still like to find out. Could somebody please tell me who ”Pinhead” is?
