Peninsula Daily News has an article talking about Stephenie Meyer Day in Forks. It is September 13th. They are making a weekend of it though starting the 12th.

The article talks about all the preparations they are making for the celebration.

The official Stephenie Meyer Day is Sunday, Sept. 13 — the date of Bella’s birthday — but Forks events will begin the day before.

Planned for the weekend are $3 tours of Forks High School — where the fictional Swan and her vampire boyfriend, Edward Cullen attended school — as well as plenty of music, a look-alike contest, group photographs, a bonfire at First Beach, a scavenger hunt, and of course, a birthday cake for Bella.

Edward Does Vegas

Well Hello Everyone! Edward Cullen here. Leandra and Jamey were nice enough to let me come with them on vacation.

This is me in the airplane. We took off from the Cleveland International Airport. Leandra said the seats were small, but I had plenty of room. And no peanuts. Aren’t you suppose to get peanuts on the plane Oh, well! They did serve us breakfast. Did I mention we got up at like 5 in the morning. Not a problem for me I don’t sleep, but Jamey said he was tired.

This is our hotel room. We are staying at Treasure Island. There are giant Pirate ships outside. AARRRGGHHH!!!

“I think she has a much bigger rack than I have.” Kristen Stewart is pondering her Twilight action figure — the little plastic doll that represents Bella, her character in the film franchise — while checking the proportions of the bust. “I also think she looks much older than me,” she adds, before setting the figure aside. I pick it up and, on closer inspection, the doll does look a little older than its real-life progenitor (as to the “rack”, closer inspection would be inappropriate). “It’s strange,” continues the 19-year-old actress, “but people often think I’m a little bit older than I really am. A French journalist asked me earlier on how my teenage years had affected my later life. I’m still in my teens.” She smiles. “Really, even if I was older, how could my teenage years not have shaped my life? I don’t know how to answer that.”

To Our Readers from Leandra and Jamey – We are Vegas Bound

Hey Guys! Leandra here.

Just wanted to give you all a heads up that Jamey and I are leaving for vacation tomorrow. We are heading to Las Vegas Baby!! We have to leave the house at 6 in the morning to catch our plane. So early, that’s usually when I go to bed LOL!!! We will be back Friday.

Don’t worry though, I will be taking my laptop so I will still be able to update the site and make posts, they just won’t be as regular as usual. But I will still be taking time out everyday to make sure you guys get all the most important Twilight news.

I also won’t be checking the email as often so don’t worry if it takes me a little while to respond if you send in a question or something.

I have some posts scheduled including fan art, cakes and some character bios made by one of our readers Becky.

Just wanted to let you guys know what was going on. Also I am planning on making some very special Vegas related posts while we are on vacation. What is it you may ask? I can’t tell it’s a secret, but I think you will like it. If you don’t blame Jamey he came up with the idea LOL!!!!
