These are all TERRIBLE choices. And I don’t know what everyone’s obsession was with Emily Browning, but I think she would’ve made a horrible Bella. She looks NOTHING like Bella’s described in the book. I’m really glad she isn’t playing her.

i think kristen has been the perfect bella by far. but good thing this is just fake and not really recasting her . i think any movie that has sagas to it should have the original actors for the characters they start with.. it just wouldnt be the same if they changed the main characters especially.

I pictured Kristen when I read the Twilight books and was so excited when they casted her as Bella. She is an amazing actress and played Bella very well. I don’t think Bella’s character was at peace with herself like the woman was saying. I thought I read somewhere she felt like she didn’t belong. Plus, the chemistry is just perfect between Kristen and Robert.

I think Kristen is a Horrible actress, she does not act, she is the same in every movie she is in. I really wish they would have picked a different girl I think Alexis, Emily, Ellen, Rachelle, would have been Amazing choices! Cassie the reason people like Emily Browning so much it is because she was the actress who Stephenie Meyer originally had in mind form Bella. but there is nothing we could really do now tho, I just hope Kristen gets better!

Couldn’t have said it better myself. I really didn’t have much of an opinion of her because the only movies I saw her in were Panic Room and The Messengers. I don’t think she does a terrible job as Bella and would like to see her continue. What I DO NOT like about Kristen is how she handles herself in interviews. She talks like she is beneath everyone. I remember seeing her on Letterman. Letteman actually had different questions than most others ask her and she still looked annoyed. I understand that she is young, but she needs to realize real quick that promoting a movie comes along with being an actress.
I have seen everything ever done by Kristen Stewart. She is my favorite actress. I have met so many people that think she isnt good for the job so i read the books..and i couldn’t picture anyone better. Kristen was perfect for the part. Everyone else is just jealous cause they want to be in her place where 2 different guys want her. Kristen is AMAZING and PERFECT so people just need to leave her alone.
i think Alexis Bledel would be a better part for bella kristen does ok but bella wasnt tht shy in the books and she was alot more confident kristen is really shy in the movies and doesnt seem that confident i think she could of done better if they didnt seem like they were rushing twilight to get it out
SHE DID NOT CAPTURE BELLA’S PERSONALITY!!!!Ex: The baseball scene, when she and Edward get to the jeep, he helps her with the seat belt and she snap at him saying: “OK, I got it!”. Bella would never talk to Edward that way when he was just trying to help her, even if she was scared she would not snap at him that way.
I’m NOT happy with kristen’s acting skills, I don’t like the way she portrait Bella’s character, so not like in the book. Physical she is Bella, but …. nothing else.
Sorry one more thing: It’s not about being jealous of Kristen, being one of many fans, it is about bringing the book to life! Hopefully New Moon will be better.

Kristen is so awkward and always hestitant, like she’s not sure how to deliver her lines or how she should go about portraying Bella. She is not one of the best actress for sure. As for her appearance she looks like Bella, but her acting sucks. Look at her in her interviews, she’s always fidgeting, messing with her hair, what the heck is wrong with her? She’s just plain weird. I don’t know who would make a better Bella now that I associate her with Bella, but there are plenty of actresses out there that have more skills than she does.
If anyone from that video could replace Stewart, I’d say it should be either Victoria Justice or Jena Malone. My top two are Talulah Riley and Missy Peregrym, though, Stewart drives me nuts, her acting is pretty much the same in every movie she’s in, especially her habit of not finishing lines. “You…I…You can’t…What’re you…No…” GAH!!!
I agree with you, and that is so irritating and annoying even with the most simple lines she act like that! just say it, dam it!!!!! Bella is not that cluless, unsure, hesitant in the book. It’s just bad acting.

I personally HATE when they replace actors or actresses in the middle of a movie saga. You’re always thinking, “and we’re supposed to believe this person is (whoever)??!” It makes for a stupid sequel when they don’t have the same people in ALL the movies.
I think Kristen Stewart is great for this ‘type’ of movie. She does a good “scared-lost look”. But I hated her in Adventureland (stupid movie anyway), she always has the same expression….lost or stoned.
She should stick to Twilight and horror movies.
