It’s hard for me to even imagine someone else in that role, but if Taylor had gotten the boot, I think Steven Strait or Michael Copon would’ve been ok.

im not saying that because i like Taylor, but because its the truth,, Taylor is the only one who can play Jacob, he is exactly how i imagined,
Rob, Kristen are great but if there was someone else who could play their characters then its possible.
but Taylor is the only un-replaceable actor in this movie, its like when Stephenie wrote about Jacob’s character she was describbing Taylor.
but i love the cast the way they r right now, they all were perfect for the roles. i like them this way better
Yeah I agree with you Mary. The first guy woulda been a good pick. I remember him from One Tree Hill, and he can play a pretty good ****y guy, and we all know that Jake can be a bit ****y, well the books version anyway, we’ll see how he’s portrayed in the movie.

I LOVE Taylor just like the rest of you and think he is absolutely the best choice!…BUT if he wasn’t around I think Steven Strait would be the next best thing. I cannot stand Michael Copon! and if I went even deeper into that hypothetical, Taylor could play Seth.

taylor is perfect for jacob in so many ways. hes healthy, energetic, strong, and has such great spirit. not only that, but, he has worked SOOO HARD for this role! nobody could EVER IN A MILLION YEARS REPLACE TAYLOR LAUTNER.
