I like Ashley as Alice, but I ALWAYS pictured Rachael Leigh Cook as Alice before she was picked. She has the perfect size and and shes really pretty too.

Out of the girls they mentioned, I would tend to agree with Rachael Leigh Cook the most. BUT why mess with perfection? Miss Ashley is great as Alice. =)

I would never replace Ashley! I think that they couldn’t have picked anyone better for Alice! However, of the two given scratch out Natalie Portman…. As much as I like the Tiwlight series, I don’t think there is enough substance in the script for her. She wouldn’t do it. I am a big fan of hers, and her previous films, hate to say it- b/c I do LOVE twilight- are of a totally different calibur.

If I had to choose, it would be the first girl. She was very pretty, and somewhat fit the Alice. We all know that Ashley can’t be replaced, but like she said… this is just for fun.

Like in Twilight, they just fit perfectly into the roles and they made Twilight so good and they brought the book to life.
I love the actors that play each role, everyone fits into the movie really well!

no, alice’s 19.
she was born in 1901 (same as edward)
but transformed into vampire around 1920 (that’s what meyer said).
so, that leaves her with 19 years

I hope so, its fun. You know they would never replace them, they are NOT replaceable. But its fun to see who else would be able to do at least half the job of the chosen cast. Because seriously, what if these guys turned it down? We would be looking at someone else.
before alice was cast, i really thought the first person would be really good.

alice was seventeen when she was changed, its just not of big importance in the books so they didn’t talk about it so much like they did edward. i did like the pick of natalie portman though, cept she like 30!
She wasn’t 17 and I completely agree about Natalie Portman, she is a damn good actress, I watch EVERYTHING she is in, but in no way is she Alice material. As soon as they said her name I screamed noooooo… Lol

Nobody could replace Ashley Greene. I cant imagine The Twilight Saga without Ashley she’s amazing at playing Alice. (especially in the Baseball scene in TWILIGHT, cant wait to see her in NEW MOON)
