If Breaking Dawn gets made, and we all hope it does, who do you think should direct? Like any of these directors mentioned? Or would you chose someone else?
Thanks Eloise!!
YAY FIRST COMMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!
hmmmmmmmmm… thats a hard question… i have no idea…
TEAM CULLEN FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I vote Chris!
I vote Chris, too
but I just don’t see Tarentino in this saga… that would be really huge mistake!
i’d really like to see Chris direct in the saga again. i even mentioned to David that he should do it. mainly either one of them. maybe JJ Abrams, but definetly not Quentin Tarantino, or Tim Burton
I’ll plead with Summit for getting Chris or David back!!
11/20/09 OH!! I’LL BE THERE
I vote for Chris and Maybe JJ Tarantino Thats a Big No Burton even though im a big fan of his work he doesnt seem like a good fit for Twilight hes style is way too cartoony for me the others i havent really heard of
I think should be the 3 directors that already worked. You know what a mean? Think about it: Catherine for book one; she can do the very romantic part (the wedding and Esme island)
Chris for book tow: the is good with werewolf (he already knows Jacob pretty well and support him)
David books three: he is the best for the vampire stuff and can bring I little more action to the end
That’s my thought
that would be a great way to end the saga only I’m not sure if it would work if they don’t seperate the 3 books in 3 movies. Because the first 30minutes in blue colors, the 30 next in warm colors and the last part in dark…that would be weird!
i LOVE your idea arianna, well thought out – i know the last book is being made into two movies, but your idea is brilliant!
the only problem i should point out (and maybe it’s totally incorrect as i did read it on the internet) is that david does not like catherine and isn’t a big fan of her work (but like i said that could be TOTALLY untrue)
but anyway, yeah the three directors on the last book would be brilliant!!
i recon chris and david should direct it together, coz chris has done a fantastic job – from what i’ve seen – to new moon and with th ewhole romance side of it all, and so far i think david has done a great job with the darker side of things. so i think if they direct together it woul even things out and make it that more exciting
defo chris vote from me.fingers crossed
Chris Weitz for Breaking Dawn!
CHRIS should def do BD! Love him
well, i don’t have a suggestion who should be the director of breaking dawn, but i’m SURE it shouldn’t be quentin tarantino!!! we would probably ruin the whole story!!!
and though i like tim burton films, i don’t think he should be the director either, because breaking dawn has not the storyline his usual films have!
i think chris weitz would be a good choice for breaking dawn too, because i think new moon will totally overbid twilight!!
CHRIS WEITZ all the way, mean i lve tim burton but i dont think this is really his style, the last movie sould be the most powerfull. and i really really hope they dont make breaking dawn into 3 movies, it would be way too much
Chris Weitz! He’s awesome & hot
yeah? and ur whacked.. i hope some1 dropped u on ur head as a baby… otherwise then u were born nuts..to think chris is hot?
From what we have seen Chris has most likely done an amazing job with New Moon and since he is already familiar with the feel and sensitivity of the Twilight Saga I think it is most important that they pick the right person. After all, Breaking Dawn is going to be the most intense, magical, intimate and the most important part of the whole series, it’s where the whole thing comes together. And not to mention ALOT happens in the fourth book. I think Chris would be the obvious choice. I dont think it would be wise to bring someone new in at that point.
who honsetly thought that Taratino was a good choice for a Twilight movie? now i understand the violent concept but first of all i dont even think Romance is even in the mans vocabulary and secondly he’ll probably have everyone dead by the end of the movie
“first of all i dont even think Romance is even in the mans vocabulary ”
but you’re absolutely right!!!
haha, that’s an amazing statement!!
I’m not saying they should or will make three movies but each book is different vantage point and could be nice to have every one from each director, yes Catherine could did a much better work whit twilight but it wasn’t all her fault there is more resources now and now she knows exactly what fans thinks and want
ups! didn’t mean “did” sorry miss spell
I REALLY WANT CHRIS W. TO DIRECT BREAKING DAWN!!!
so far New Moon looks just AMAZING!!!!!!
and plus he knows the actors and actresses to make it work
I AM GOING TO BE LIKE FREAKING OUT WHEN BREAKING DAWN COMES OUT
IT IS MY FAV BOOK SO I WANT IT TO BE GOOD!
Umm… TIM BURTON, I LOVE HIM,
Hmmm, now that i think about it, i think Chris should direct Breaking Down
i think because it is such a large movie chris and his brother should team up but JJ abrams and zack snyder have my vote as well
ok, definetely NOT tim burton. breaking dawn just doesnt fit his style.
its not hard to choose…
hmmm, lets see…ummmm…
CHRIS WEITZ
CHRIS WEITZ
CHRIS WEITZ
CHRIS WEITZ
CHRIS WEITZ
!!!!!!!!!!!
CHRIS WEITZ ALL THE WAY!!!!!!
I say Chris Weits should be the director!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Catherine…. Chris changed to much in new moon.. catherine stuck to almost all da scenes..
But don’t the writers decide what scenes to have and not to have for the movie? so technically…chris didn’t change anything, and catherine got lucky!! im not argueing that catherine shouldn’t direct breaking dawn (she’d be perfect for directing the romance scenes and she’s fairly good with action) but i just thought i should point out that it’s the writers that decide what gets cut!
Chris Weitz!!!
I would like to see chris come back to do BD . I also keep seeing the Avatar trailer , I think James Cameron directs that one but I’m not sure on that. The effects in that movie are pretty awesome and I think that director may work for BD.Whoever it is we definitely need someone who is comfortable and experience with CGI effects.
I honestly this that chris wietz should return to make breaking dawn. He seem to have capture the book very well. And i hope to see that in breaking dawn. Thats my opioion. I really likes his worked.
Brett Ratner
he directed X-Men 3. if you’ve seen that movie u can see why he’d be a great candidate. the special effects were great and the storyline had a sensitive side as well. that shows his potential to be able to both maintain the level of CGI sophistication and the love story in Breaking Dawn.
I vote either Chris Wietz because he did such an amazing job with New Moon, or James Cameron (if no Chris Wietz). (come on now) Ya’ll may think I’m nuts, but he did amazing w/ avatar and the others he done. Look how huge Titanic was… However I really have to say that I’m so impressed w/ Chris’ work on NM. Un-freaking-believable!!! Seriously, did Catherine even read Twilight??? No way should she be allowed on any other Twilight Saga venture.
hmmm…i really don’t know, I thought chris did do an amazing job on new moon and it would be convenient having a director who is familiar with the movies, books and the fan support it receives, but Im not sure if he’s ideal for BD??
