You stand out among the Wolf Pack because of your scene with Bella – the slap heard ‘round the world, so to speak. Tell me how that scene went down.
Alex Meraz: It was exciting. Even just in the casting of it, I just really liked Paul. What happened with the casting process is, we sent in our information and through that they were going to break it down. I sent it in and started reading New Moon while I was waiting and I really liked Paul because of that scene, and I really like bad boys and he’s kind of the bad boy of the Wolf Pack. I got the chance to audition and I got that role, saw the script and was blown away by it. I knew it was the first transformation you were going to see in the movie, and it’s definitely a scene that stands out. There was pressure to make sure it looked good, but I knew I was in good hands – Chris Weitz is just an amazing director, and Phil Tippett who did the special effects was going to make me look awesome. So it was fun.
Alex is just so fine!!!!
i really like this seen, its so intense and he did an awesome job with the facial xpresions when turning into the wolf and that slap whew nice! oh and first comment yay my first one
WOW!!!!! He is such a stud!!!!! It is going to be awesome…. He is such a great bad boy!!!! MMMMMMmmmmmmmmm…. Hehe
He so not hard to look at….lol although the scene was not in the book is a really exciting one. I loved it

And in less than 24 hours I get to meet him at the cast tour! EEEEEEKKKK!
OMG actually i met ALEX AND KIOWA!! haha
i did the nordstrom new moon thingy
and i took a picture w/ alex and kiowa
and they put their arms around me!!! haha
then i went to the other new moon thing @ park meadows mall and there was a questions & answers session
and someone asked “what was your favorite part in shooting new moon”
and he said “being punched my kristen”
and then a little while later the crowd chanted “take it off! take it off!”
and he took his jacket off
he was wearing a wife beater!
HOTTTTTT!!!!!
are you jealous? YEAH YOU SHOULD BE!! haha jk jk!
He is like my fave wolf boy!!!
