I agree about the ending.. I mean yeah we have read the books and we also know that they are making the 3rd movie right now, but OMG>
I think that everyone in the theater felt the same way we do, cause it was all angst and sighs after that happened.
I had such a great time though. We did trivia and some people brought the Twilight Trivia game. Makes a couple of hours waiting go fast
I thought that the ending was good, even if that is supposed to happen in Eclipse. It’s a great cliff hanger for those who haven’t read the books(BTW-I have. I’m just saying because a lot of people haven’t)

I loved it! the ending was great…but that is just me…you can’t please everyone……but it was true to the book in my opinion. it was very action packed and you can only get so much in 2hours and they put alot in it too

I agree. I liked the ending. Really, how else could it have ended? It was so much like the book, I was really impressed. And the stuff that wasn’t really in the book, only enhanced the movie. Definately 5 howls haha. I’m seeing it again on Sunday!

Oh, it was so funny. Nobody cried, but once Edward said that, the whole theater was filled with the shriek of teen girls voices. It was very entertaining.
Even though it was supposed to happen in Eclipse, I think that it was a good ending to the movie.
The movie was AMAZING…saw the double feature of Twilight at 9pm followed by the midnight showiong of New Moon. My only disappointment is the ending. I thought it was rushed…and then what’s up with ending it at the Proposal???? I’m still tripping on that…I was like, the book had more to that conversation. I even went home and opened it right to the proposal scene and the movie ended it with “I just stared at him waiting….”. Seriously??????? What happened to the “where’s the punch line” and Bella asking if he took her to Vegas right now would she be a vampire in 3 days. *sigh*….so much more to that scene. Also, I would’ve liked to have seen a little more dialog between Bella and Edward at the end…Edward did all the talking, lol. The movie didn’t seem like 2 hours…it felt like it ended soon after it started, so I wouldn’t have minded extension of the scenes. But overall, it was AMAZING and I’m planning on seeing it again tonight. I saw Twilight 12 times in the theatre like a dork…I’m hoping to have more self control this time, lol.
Its not the end! Its where they’re gunna start Eclipse, and i think its exciting and different to start exactly where they left off!
It kicked ASS!!! Nobody better give it a bad rating, i’m seeing it again tomorrow! It was funny, it was tender, it was AMAZING. I watched Twilight at home, then went to the 12:30 am showing, and have had a little over an hour of sleep, i’m at work, and so pumped about the movie, whooohoooooo

saw it at 10am today!! it was amazing and honestley, i think the ending was amazing!! we all know what happens next and so its just a little cliff hanger making you want eclipse more!! =D OMGGGGGGGGG im so happy with it,,, the only thing i dont like about the film is the amount of music in the film and how loud the music actually is, sometimes it seemed like the the music was competing with the actors talking. =D but it was still epic =)
Did anyone else notice Jaspers southern drawl?? It was awesome to bring that in now and not wait until Eclipse!!! Did I mention that I loved the movie?? Sigh, so many great parts in the movie…again, sigh!
It was the best! Way better than the original Twilight movie. The actors were at their finest and the relationships of the characters were well portrayed. I can’t wait to go see it again!!!
I think it was better. Partially because you know about the characters(if you haven’t read the books, which I have), and it’s the second installment in the saga.
Loved it, went to the midnight showing and fell in love with New Moon all over again. Cast, crew, and director did an excellent job of bringing this book to the cinema and I’m really looking forward to Eclipse. Though I have to disagree that the ending was somewhat disappointing. Personally I thought it was an excellent point to shop and that it leads up to the next part of the saga. It gave one last punch and the expressions on their faces made it really click for me. And now I’m beyond excited for the next one!

they’re wrong and very picky. the movie ROCKED!!! some are complaining about the acting, which I actually think was better than Twilight, and the music. but I can agree with the music. it sucked, big time. but that may be just my disappointment from the difference between CH and CW. don’t worry, as long as you’re not extremely picky and going to complain about little things they didn’t put in, then you’ll love it;)

Hey everyone my mom and i went to c new moon last night at 12 (the midnight shwoing) and we thought many significant parts were missing. and we are a little disapointed but i loved the werewolves with th cgi affects it was awesome!!! well i hope you like it!! l8ter
personally I liked the ending =) it was perfect because it makes you so anxious for Eclipse.. though I know what will happen, I’m sooo ready to see it! I’m very pleased that it stayed to the book, I think they did an excellent job! I’m going to see it again tonight lol hopefully there wont be as many screams so I can hear what I missed last night haha

I went to the midnight showing with my niece and bff. We LOVED IT!! The movie does stay true to the book, and I liked that there was more music off the soundtrack in the movie than in Twilight. I was a little bit disappointed with the ending of the movie. I felt that it was a bit rushed, but I can understand why they ended it the way that they did.
I haven’t seen it yet, but I’m planning to later today!
Went and saw it today with my mom and sister…loved it! It had everything in it that it needed to. Can’t wait for Eclipse!

The best Friggin movie ever!!!! I just got done seeing it and I’m pumped about it. I loved everything about it, especially all the fight scenes in it definitely the best movie EvER!
I saw Twilight last night followed by New Moon at midnight. Loved the movie, the heck with a 5, I give it a 10!!!! I loved all of it, especially the frustration you sense between Edward and Bella when they touch, they want each other so badly on so many levels! So intense, I feel for Jake but as Bella says ” it will always be him, always has been”! Go Edward, I loved the ending and hated it (not really hated it), I love the books and knew it would end that way, I don’t think it should have ended any other way, but it really made me want to sit there and watch Eclipse!!! I hope the do a triple feature when Eclipse comes out, that would be sweet, to watch all 3 back to back on the big screen!! Anyway love it, love it, love it!!! This was my first night out since before my 18 month old baby was born and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way!!! No better way to spend a night out then drooling over Edward!!!! Definetly going to go see this many more times! Can’t wait to buy it!!

I love this movie. It was able to capture the essence of the book without making it too depressing or melodramatic. I thought the Direction was great – kudos to Chris Weitz.
Taylor Lautner was perfect as Jacob. With all the hype about his body (which looked great) he is a really good actor that happens to be pretty beautiful to look at. He nailed his role to perfection. Kristen Stewart played Bella’s pain and conflict with her feelings about Jacob in that subtle confused way she has that really pulls you in. She should be really proud of her performance. Rob Pat was perfect and sparkly, of course.
This adaptation of New Moon stayed closer to the book and as a fan of the book series I so appreciated that. The addition of plot twists like Bella’s emails to Alice moved the movie along. For the exception of a few scenes, the wolves were pretty awesome. I mean they were huge, furry, mean and fast – what more could you want from a supernatural wolf?
The soundtrack was great and so was the pacing of the entire film. This movie, like Harry Potter for instance, can be enjoyed by all ages. But it is basically a teen romance and if you are not into that then look elsewhere for entertainment. This romantic however can’t wait to see it again!
I went this morning at 12 and IT WAS AMAZING!!! I love edward and Bella!! I’m from Minnesota and im a freshman in high school. The books are way better though and i want everyone to read them!!!
P.S. when edward bella and alice are talking to the Volturi, it looks like Edward is wearing a snuggy hahaha.
I just got back from the movies like 3 hours ago! amazingful movie! it was great! and definately worth the wait!!! But it was really easy to make fun of… especially when theyre watching face punch… that was such a fail XD

That movie was atrocious. I loved the books, but neither Kristen Stewart nor Robert Pattinson can act. He looked like he belonged in a zombie movie, and she needs to stop curling her hands up like she has CP. I can’t believe they considered leaving Taylor Lautner out, that kid made that movie. So very, very bad. Female version of starship troopers.
i thought the film was fab! It is very different to what i was expecting and to be fair it was always going to be hard to live up to the book.
I’m not sure why people were laughing at scenes which were meant to be sad or scary! i will go and see it again but when its less busy so I can enjot it properly. Rob just gets better and better. Can’t wait for eclipse;-)
i dont like that director the first part the camera just keep spining it was making me dizzy and he left out one of the best part when they come home from itly and charle gets mad at edward!!!!!!!

The movie was sooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am still excited about it. Although they did leave out a lot, I still thought the movie was totally good. One thing that did annoy me was that whenever Taylor took off his shirt, all the girls screamed. The good thing was that myself,and other Team Edward supporters, “ssssshhhhhhed” them so that we could hear the movie. Those Jacob lovers would not shut up. Later, when I got home and went to bed, I was wishing that I had my own Edward to comfort me. Wasn’t the last bedroom scene the sweetest????? Edward and Bella are PERFECT for each other!!!!!!

I wish thae they stayed a little more on the book. Unlike cuting out the good parts in the book. Like where did bella got the bikes, or why did she jump off in to the ocean, or on the air plain as Alice tells bella that she will turn bella her self, or When they go home on the air plain and how sleepy bella is but she won’t becuase Edward might live her, or when they get to the air port and meet hes family and how sorry Rosalie is to tell Edward. the movie should been better.

I thoroughly enjoy reading what other people write about my favorite movies. Its interesting to read their point of views.
And yes, I have a life. I can only read posts on weekends, late at night when I have time for myself.
BTW, I loved Jasper’s accent. So not how we speak in Texas, but cute nonetheless.
