Can you talk about your experience in joining the “Twilight” franchise?
I was really struck by what an incredible group of young people are in that franchise. Their friendships are so genuine, and they really ground each other. And there is a lot going on around them. There’s a lot of attention and scrutiny, but I’m truly moved by how solid they’ve remained in their values and belief systems and their caring of one another throughout all of that. You hope for that in a franchise.
Part of the reason to come back together is to tell a story but also to come back together because everyone genuinely enjoys working with one another. And it was a really, really positive experience for that reason — other than set aside the fact that I’ve read the ["Twilight"] books and loved the books from the very beginning and these characters are extraordinary. It’s such an absorbing story that I just felt very lucky, given the unfortunate circumstances surrounding it, that I was just invited in. I hope that “Eclipse” continues this trend of being really reverent of what ["Twilight" book series author] Stephenie [Meyer] created with the books.

All eyes are upon you Bryce Dallas Howard. You have some pretty heavy boots to fill. I still love Rachelle Lefevre but willing to give Bryce a chance.
agreed. we all LUV Rachelle, but i’m also willing to give poor Bryce a chance. she will prolly do fine, we just have to wait to see. and if she doensn’t do well, we sue her! what’s the prob? haha, i mean, there are LOTS of twi-hards out there that are willing to do ANYTHING to make twilight better.
I don’t get why this woman has to replace Rachel Lefevre… she was perfect! I haven’t even seen the movie yet and I dislike her (as Victoria) already. I’ve heard she is the niece of the producer or director… is that true?

Oh my gosh! she is the one who replaced Rachel?!?!?!??!?!?!?! Rachel can not be replacable I thought she was awesome.
It sucks that Rachel is going to continue her role, hopefully it wont change that much without her, but i would of rathered the twilight saga to have all the same actors throughout the whole saga. But oh well

Yeah, it really sucks… Also it sucks that I spelled her wrong… it’s Rachelle *blush* But how in the world could they have done such a thing… I mean, vampires aren’t supposed to change *lol* Nah, really… this was some idiotic choice… because of silly 10 Days… they could have waited *sob*

LOL Last night,my family and I were watching a re-run of Spiderman, and when Bryce came on the screen i just started yelling “IT’S VICTORIA!”
Bryce Dallas Howard, is Ron Howards daughter, you know Opie taylor? Happy days! Also I heard Rachelle wouldn’t be in eclipse because of a movie conflict. She was doing another movie when they made eclipse so she couldn’t be there, so they had to replace her. But it is going to be hard to replace Rachelle. She made such a great Victoria. Let’s hope Bryce does a good job. Also Ron Howard is a director now. But not of any of the Twilight movies.
Rachelle shouldn’t have been replaced she was exactly the way that I pictured Victoria to look! I mean they should have picked somebody that actually looked somewhat like her!!! Hello! I can’t give Bryce a chance until I see how good she is (if she’s good)! They should get Rachelle back and redo the parts that she was supposed to be in! Who’s with me?!
