Stephenie Meyer has updated her official website with the following statement talking about the Breaking Dawn movie:
Just a quick note on the subject of the Breaking Dawn film: there is no drama over whether the book should be one movie or two. My personal feeling is that it would be very difficult to cram the whole story into one movie (as I’ve said in many interviews previous to this), but if a great way of doing that surfaces, I’m all for it. Two or one, whichever way fits the story best is fine by me, and everyone I’ve spoken with at Summit seems to feel the same way. We’re all excited to move forward on this, and we are slowly and surely getting there. I know people are anxious for news, and so sometimes gossip get fabricated to stir things up, but there’s no basis to this particular story.

Oh steph just make it into 2 movies! More suspense. And the excitement i’ll feel. Waiting for the 2nd half. And you’d get more $$$.=] Either way im going to love it! Just don’t cram it into a 2-3 hour movie.

So I want to watch it!! But I hate taking my 9 year old sister who will be 11 by then to the cinema since it’s 13 and up…………
I would sooooo sit threw a four hour film! Just make sure all the details are there. And where they happen in the book unlike Twilight! Which I loved but would have liked it to stick to the book as far as event sequences went. Like for example their first kiss, and when he tells her he watches her sleep, and when he told her he wanted her to meet his family. I would have loved to see a little more of the small romantic moments between Bella and Edward in the movie. It moved too fast, which New Moon did a better job of conveying that and keeping the action going! But I’m a fan no matter what sooo, Do whatever but do it soon!
i think they should deffinatly do 2 movies so they dont ruin the book. IT NEEDS TO BE JUST LIKE THE BOOK!
I AGREE W/2 MOVIES THAT WAY THE WHOLE STORY GETS TOLD AS IT SHOULD.
My comment has nothing to do with breaking dawn being 1 book or two..i just wanted to ask if there is actually going to be another book called midnight sun or something like that, twilight in edwards point of view? if so anyone know when??
