There are lots of choices available for the New Moon movie on DVD and Blu-ray. To make the decision process easier, we have included a review of each version available. If you want extra features, bonus items, or special packaging there is DVD for every Twilight fan.

New Moon Special Edition DVD & Blu-ray
This widescreen edition includes audio commentary track with director Chris Weitz and editor Peter Lambert; a 6-part behind-the-scenes documentary; band-rehearsal footage with Muse; music videos from Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina, and Mute Math.

New Moon Deluxe Edition DVD & Blu-ray
The Deluxe Edition is the same as the Special Edition but also includes a bonus disc with never before seen footage and different cover art. Also included is a limited edition film cell. Film cells are taken from the actual 35mm film which run in movie theaters.

New Moon Ultimate Fan Edition DVD & Blu-ray
This Ultimate Edition includes unique cover art with lenticular packaging plus 50 minutes of extras and a 7-minute sneak peek of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The sneak peek has interviews with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Stephenie Meyer; behind-the-scenes footage and a scene from the Eclipse movie.

New Moon Special Edition DVD & Blu-ray with Dreamcatcher
This is the Special Edition with a bonus dreamcatcher bag clip. The New Moon Dreamcatcher Bag Clip has a metal dangle finished in antique brass that combines a circular dreamcatcher, a sculptural Wolf Pack-tattoo charm, a Wolf Pack jewelry tag, feathers, and crystals.

I pre ordered mine from Target..the one with the 3disc…It was hard making this choice but at the end I like it the most…hope everyone enjoys their copy.I know I will..lol…

thanks for the info! I think I’m most concerned with having the extra footage and/or deleted scenes. I think its weird though that only the deluxe edition has that, because its pretty standard info to have on dvds (if such scenes exist). I’m kind of disappointed that I have to give up a cool little trinket like the dreamcatcher to get the deleted scenes, but oh well.

Thanks for all the info. It’s easier to have them all together rather than scattered. It’s a tough choice. I love the Borders one because it comes with the Cullen Crest necklace (at least had I gotten that one that’s the side I would have worn) but I went with the Target one because of the bonus 3rd disk and film cell.

Oh my god how many different ways are they gonna sell tis movie!? I think I’m going to get mine at Target because usually movies from target have a code for you to get a digital copy of the movie for your iPod and I don’t want to pay another $20.00 to get New Moon on iTunes. Only 44 more days left! Can’t wait!!!

I got the 2 disc special edition from Fye in the mall. I wish mine had that 3rd disc with the never before seen footage, but I didn’t want the film cell. Soo that sucks. I would have totally gotten the ultimate fan edition one, but I had already pre-ordered the special edition, and I didn’t know about the ultimate one until 2 days later (sigh)

alright… can someone maybe help me out!? should I get the three disk edition from target, or the two disk edition from walmart which has a sneak peek at eclipse?? I’m a super obsessed twilight fann idk what to do! do both come with a digital copy of the movie? help! please!

Any concrete info on a Digital Copy inclusion with any of the American versions of the BluRay?

Last year the Target version of Twilight said in advance they would have a digital copy on their version of the DVD/BluRay, but this year no one will say for sure….

If anyone does, this is the version I want.

I know some people here said Target often includes Digital Copy on movies- but I’m asking does anyone KNOW for *sure* New Moon at Target (or anywhere) will have one?

I ordered from Target and Barnes & Noble but then and bought the two disc from Walmart. Those of you holding out and hoping as I did that all the discs were the same and just promoting different versions…they are not. Walmart disc does not have extended or deleted scenes, only an Eclipse sneak preview.
May have to order from Boarders too but I’ll wait and see what Target’s 3 disc has on it.
