He went with a very classic look which looks good on him. With tuxes it’s hard to “change it up” without looking like a costume or like ur trying too hard. Maybe he should have opted for a black shirt/hi collar/no tie instead. But I’m sure someone would give a negative comment no matter what he wore. I think he looked great as always

Eliza, it’s the Oscars. Of course she’s going to look too dressy.
I’m glad she didn’t totally overdo it, though. That’s what I love about her. She dresses how a nineteen-year-old should dress like. She looks beautiful without looking like a school girl slut and freaking twenty pounds of “stylish” jewelry. I love her makeup. With Kristen, less is more. She doesn’t overdo the hair or makeup either. It looks like she died her hair somewhat back to normal, if you look close enough. (I like it either way.) My number one role model just gets better and better. She should have won an Oscar LONG ago.

Didn’t really like Kristen’s dress, she could have done better, loved Anna’s dress, very feminine, Kate Winslet was by far the best dressed woman there, she was stunning, Taylor looked fine and pity Rob was in London filming and couldn’t attend.
