CNN: For the DVD, what do you think the fans will appreciate the most?
Chris Weitz: What they’ll appreciate most is certain scenes that didn’t make it into the film. … There’s basically more Bella [Kristen Stewart], there’s more Edward [Robert Pattinson], there’s more Jacob [Taylor Lautner], and it’s often sort of more extended versions of scenes where things are discussed at greater length rather than entirely new scenes. I think there’s a lot of good stuff in the movie for fans, and at the same time we didn’t want to get rid of any of their favorite scenes.

whoa, CNN? isnt that a national news station? theyve never been intersted in twilight…
I’m still very disappointed that the extra Eclipse stuff, the deleted scenes and the extended scenes are broken up among 3 different exclusive versions of the DVD. Can we get a petition going or something and send it to Summit and request that they NOT do that when Eclipse goes to DVD? They should make an ULTIMATE Ultimate Fan Edition that includes all extras. I don’t care if its $5-$10 more, I’d pay extra to have it all.
I’m really hoping someone will put all the extended scenes on youtube or something because I’m not buying the Borders edition.
im buying the walmart edition; is the borders one better?
the Borders one has the extended scenes, and the Target one has the deleted scenes. I just watched the extended scenes on youtube (very good!) I bought the Target one, and I’m glad I did because there were a lot of deleted scenes plus I got it on sale for $19.99
