Personally, being a Team Jacob fan, I’d have to say TL. I mean, you don’t hear much of Rob Pattz anymore, do you? Taylor Lautner’s the one in all the mags on on the telly. And R-Pattz, I mean, he’s not that great of an actor really. The thing is, when people who watch twilight, or read twilight (without reading New Moon) Automatically become Team Edward, because of Jacob’s absence, but in New Moon you really feel JAcob’s sorrow, and thats why a lot more are Team Jacob. People are just kinda Team Edward because they think that he’s cool becuase hes a vampire. Lemme tell you – VAMPIRES SHOULDNT SPARKLE >.> When it comes down to it all, fur and big teeth versus – sparkly and mean? No. Just, no. Taylor ftw.
Taylor is NOT in all the magazinwa, or even mort of them….. robert has been on the cover of detail among others….taylor has been talked about because he wants ppl to recognize him (that’s why he did the valentines movive) and I defenitly have to say that after he took his shirt off for New Moon…ppl all of all sudden like him…I mean REALLY!!!!!…some fans he has…”Jacob’s sorrow”…haha…he only goes looking for trouble…wanting Bella when he knew from the beginning that she would neeeeever choose her…so immature…and as for the fur vs. the sparkly and mean…Edward IS NOT MEAN…who would want to have a dog as a boyfriend…Dogs are pets not soulmates
BTW….ROB is 10 times better looking than Taylor and is not your typical guy
Stephenie’s novels are fantasy, vampires can sparkle they could’ve flied If SM wanted.
I think RPatz is better than TL because Robert makes better choices than Taylor Lautner, i mean, Taylor picks tha one that makes him look better and Robert chooses the one that has the best story.

On the other hand Taylor is gorgeous sexy well spoken, and is actually clean and not dirty. I agree with Jasmin, I like Rob as Edward, not so much as Rob, and as Abiligail pointed out, Rob smokes, yuck, he also uses profanity. I think Taylor handles his interviews better and always looks great, cute, too but young! There is nothing sexy about smoking, it smells bad, looks tacky, and kills people! Sets a poor example for others who look to him and want to be a part of all he is. I am Team Edward as I believe Edward is better for Bella than Jacob, but Edward would not smoke, curse, and has good values, besides being good looking (better than he does when he is only Rob!)

Umm…. hello. This is a popularity contest…not “who is hotter in your opinion?” poll.
I say they are both household names. Everyone knows who they both are, so it’s impossible to say who is more popular. Popularity, however, also has to do with demand, not just knowledge of existance. And I feel like they are both EQUALLY in high demand.
There is no way of knowing the answer to this Q….except for maybe by showing their pictures to pre-schoolers, elderly folks and maybe a few lost african tribal people who never see TV…and asking them “who is this guy?” See which is more widely known. *shrugs*
