does anyone know what its rated?

    • DIS IS WAT IT HAS!!!!! :D

Sexual actions are suggested, but never shown.

One of the key themes of the movie is pedophilia.

A character makes menacing, sexual suggestions to a distressed female character.

      Two characters kiss briefly.

Naked photos of a child are discovered.

There is a history of sexual abuse between two characters, and during one scene, it is explicitly referenced. The inappropriate conduct was between a little girl and an older man, and is disturbing

A character suggestively licks another character.

      Violence & Gore
EditHistory There are violent scenes throughout. This is not a gore-driven movie– most of the deaths are quick and not lingered upon– but since as the villain uses claws/knives, all the deaths are bloody.

One of the main characters is badly burned, and the scars are graphically depicted.

A man is slashed across the palm; we see claw marks and blood.

In one location, there are burned and bloody bodies in various states of disembowelment suspended on pipes.

A child with bloody slash marks across her dress appears at a funeral.

A man drives a knife into his own throat. This is shown in full with bloody results.

From the perspective of an onlooker, a character floats above her bed and is thrown around the room repeatedly, smacking walls, the ceiling, a mirror, etc. It is not bloody.

A character floating above the bed is slashed down the middle with very gory results; we do not see the attacker but instead watch the gashes appear through her skin. Her blood splatters the shirt of another character and the cuts are very bloody and deep.

A character runs around the neighborhood covered in blood and visibly in a state of shock.

A character is burned to death. We see the character become engulfed in flames. We then see him run from the building, on fire, his skin appearing to be melting. The burned character runs towards the camera and we get a very close up shot of him; he is visibly in agony and is menacing.

A character is impaled through the abdomen by the claws of the villain ,essentially disemboweling him. Again, we do not see the attacker but rather see the body of the victim. It is very gory, and blood splatters the room. The victim is clearly alert when he is being killed.

The villain taunts one of the characters by telling him he will be torturing him. The victim is hanging upside down, has just been killed by being ripped open in the abdomen-area and is bleeding profusely. While the torture is not shown, the suggestion and reaction of the victim is disturbing.

A character burns herself with a cigarette lighter.

The hallway down which a character is running slowly becomes made out of blood. The character sinks into it and after trying to swim through it, emerges completely covered in blood.

A bloodied woman in a clear plastic body bag calls out to a character. When she opens her mouth, blood pours down her face and inside the bag. This is brief but graphic.

A few times, bloodied bodies are dragged down a hall. These scenes are short.

A pair of scissors are stabbed into someone’s eye. They are then pulled out and what appears to be blood and the optic nerve come with it.

A woman’s arms are slashed, and the wounds are serious enough that she is taken to a hospital.

A nurse’s hands turn into the villain’s claws.

A woman is attacked through a mirror and the claws of the villain come out through her eyes. This is the most gruesome gore-moment in the movie.

A character’s hand is cut off.

      A character’s throat is slit.

Two characters administer epinephrine shots, and the stabbing of the needle into the skin is shown.

There is a history of sexual abuse between two of the characters and there is a very sexually suggestive scene between them. The female character is obviously distressed and unwilling and is being graphically taunted. The malice in this scene is what makes it violent, as is previous abuse which the villain references.

      There are nightmarish images throughout.

There is heavy suggestion of pedophilia during the film, the concept of which may be violent to some viewers.

      Profanity
EditHistory The f word is used several times by the villain. Other curses are present, although they do not predominate the dialogue.

      Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking
EditHistory One of the characters uses amphetamine-like substances, such as ADD medication, to stay awake. He also steals adrenaline shots from a hospital for the same purpose.

      Frightening/Intense Scenes
EditHistory The nightmares are frequent, frightening and contain many “jump-out” moments. Suspense is heavy throughout the movie, especially during the nightmare scenes .The murders are very bloody and the context under which they occur could be scary to some viewers. Freddy’s burns are very graphic and his disfigurement is obvious throughout the film. His weapon is a glove with knife-fingers, which he sometimes menacingly wields with the intent of scaring the characters
