WOW!! that was always my favourite scene in eclipse! its not the funny version as it is in the book, it seems alot darker but i love it!! did you see how angry edward was! im so glad they have included this in the film and my otherr favourite is the tent scene and we know thats in the film ROLL ON THE 9th JULY!!!!

OMG!!!!! I totally love this scene!! I mean Charlie is halarious!!!! all calm and funny!! lol. and i LOVE Edward’s driving and how literally out of nowhere he is in front og them , I love what Edward says (BASICALLY I LOVE EVERYTHING EDWARD DOES OR SAYS HE IS ADORABLE)lol. I have to say that I am a little disapointed in this scene because it was one of my favorites in the book and I hate the fact that they change it a luttle! but it look great!! I can’t wait for June 30!!! Only 41 days left!!!!!!
I was glad to see another scene, but I was really looking forward to this one and I am a little disappointed. Edward does look hot, as always, but this scene is suppose to be funnier and very dry, not so angry. Edwards whole funny answer to Jacob when he says “may the best man win” and Edward answers that sounds about right…pup” lol. I don’t think it will work with this intensity in the scene. Still excited for the movie though
I have 2 agree w/u, Diane. What I luv’d about part of the book was that Edward was so calm, cool & collected & Jacob was “Ha,Ha. I kissed ur girl”arogant.Ed’s too angry & Jake looks ashamed at what he did. Both reactions so opposite from the book. The “May the best man win” with Edward’s “That sounds about right, pup” comeback was classic! AND they didn’t touch each other. Those lines won’t work out if they’re so angry.
Oh and what Edward say was: If you ever touch her against her will again! for the ones who didn’t get it, he spoke so fast that was so kool! I love it!!

I don’t know how I feel about that scene… that was really one of my fav parts in the books and I don’t like what they say it’s a bad part of the script and I don’t like his baggy grey sweatshirt… But Edward, even tho he has a crappy outfit, still looks hot!

I think Edward’s behavior is very good for an angry vampire who’s defending his lover ,,specially that eclipse movie is meant to be intense with lot of action,
although it is different from the cool one in the novel where I felt romance is the dominating mood .
BUT what’s really wrong is Bella’s reaction,, it was more convincing in the novel.
she should show anger rather than trying to stop Edward and talking Jacob to leave..
i kinda felt like in the book Edward was livid at first but saw Bella’s reaction to the situation and was glad she didn’t like it and returned to his usual cool deminere. SO I think we will see some of the cool tempered Edward towards the end of this scene. And Bella’s anger too. I hope they didn’t completely change the whole feel of that encounter!
may be u r right but still don’t like Bella’s reaction ,in the book she was angry from the start and sure Edward had seen her rejection and anger in Jack’s mind… anyway I’m team Edward and I’m thinking that he spoils Bella toooooooooooooo much..
besides I was angry at her for here reaction to the marriage and the ring,and kissing Jack before the fight,, she hurts him and she played games on him ,,,still he represents the best lover ever
