FearNet has an interview with Melissa Rosenberg.

Check it all out here.

Here is an excerpt:
Where exactly do you envision splitting Breaking Dawn into two parts?
We’re still talking about specifically where, but I think there’s kind of a natural break. You have the first half about Bella being human and a newlywed and pregnant, and the second half is about her being a vampire and a parent. I think somewhere in that transition is where it breaks. We’ve tried a couple of things and I think we’re settling on one, [but] we’re not sure.

I´ve always thought that the best part to make the “split” is exactly at the moment when Jacob imprints. I found that finale to the second book so awesome and intriguing… I felt the same when I saw the last scene of New Moon. I think nobody expected that the last image would be that one about Edward… So, I think that it would be great to end the movie with the final vision of that emotive and overwhelming moment for Jacob… And then starting the second movie with Bella´s transformation. Anyway, I think Rosenberg will make a great work. She is responsible for the fantastic Dexter script!

Wow, I had no idea she also works on the writing for Dexter. That show is amazing! This makes me even more excited for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. I also agree that a good place to split it would be after the birth so that the second film could open on her Transformation. But after New Moon’s ending last year I can just imagine the screaming and crying echoing through the theaters. :) Can’t Wait!
