Mackenzie Foy to play Renesmee?

According to an article at EW Mackenzie Foy is inches away from signing on to play Renesmee in Breaking Dawn.
This has not been confirmed by Summit Entertainment yet.

Well, she is cute, and everyone thinks she should play Nessie…. she does look like her…. hmmm hair needs to be curly and very slightly red…. but, of course, she’ll do…. I just wanna play Nessie, but im 11, I have blue eyes and dirty blonde hair…. so I give up. Good luck, little girl!

I agree!! She looks too old! She’s a beautiful little girl and all but nessie is still a baby in the book! She 3months old! And yes she ages quickly but she’s described as passing for a toddler!! No where near 9 years old!! Aww that will be sad if they make her look that old. Bella and Edward and everyone are suppose to carry her like shes a toddler! aww:(
She’s beautiful and all but I think she is too old! Nessie ages quick but she never reaches the age of a 9 year old! She’s three months and passes for a toddler in the book! Not a little girl…she’s still a baby! Awe that will be sad if they make her look older in the move…even if she look 5 that would be too old! She should look about 3 and no older!:(
i know exactly!!! shes a beautiful little girl…i can see bella, she just needs to put a little dye in her hair and curl it! and some CG, of course! if shes official shes gonna get TONS of money! she really is beautiful, but Nessie doesnt reach the look of 9.

Renesmee is spose to be a toddler, in the book she can pass as a 5 yr old, not 9, an bella an everyone else is spose to carry her everywhere so how is bella spose to carry a 9 yr old?, she is beautiful yes but she is not Renesmee she is way too old to be carried around

btw i hope that summit orders the wolf flap {sam, embry, jared and quil} to do some hardcore work out, so that they can live up to the wolf pack in the book. In eclipse they looks flappy, especial sam, he looked liked he had beer belly and all the food that jared was eating onscreen is starting to show in his lower stomach area. Tone it up boys cause we love you and we want to keep you on our love list.

I think she looks a little to old to play the part. Maybe if they do a lot of CG but she is REALLY cute.
I can see Bella and Edward in her but she’s a little too old and she’s beautiful and cute but she just isn’t the PERFECT renesmee the book described
I can see both Bella & Edward in her. If you watch the ClevverTV Video they say that they plan on using CG to put her face on a babys’. I think she is perfect!
YES YES A HUNDRED TIMES YES. OMFG. I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN I SAW THIS. IDK HOW IT IS POSSIBLE BUT SHE IS EXACTLY LIKE WHAT I PICTURED IN MY HEAD WHILE READING THE BOOKS. i cant believe summit is actually doing something right for a change. wow. i would love to see her as nessie, and i’m sure summit is going to cg her up a bit to make her look smaller or younger or whatever. but this IS nessie. and i love it. i cant wait til breaking dawn. wonderful [in my aro voice] lol

If you read the book you would see that Nessie has BELLA’S eyes! BROWN. Not Edwards!

I think Mackenzie Foy looks perfect to play as Renesmee. She looks a lot like her. She’s so young though, But kinda cute to me.

I know that I am not well versed in technology and it has grown so much over the years but how are TPTB going to pull that off and make it look realistic? The actress is for sure a great choice as far as how I pictured Nessy to look but in the novel Nessy is still a baby and though she is growing very fast, she only looks about 5 by the time the war was supposed to happen at the end of Breaking Dawn, though she was, age wise, only a few months old. This actress is 9. There is no way she is ever going to be able to really act out the part fully. I don’t understand why TPTB don’t just have Nessy be completely CGI. But hey, if they can pull it off with this actress then go for it. I just cannot see how it’s going to look realistic.
okay first of all, where are all her ringlets and curls??? second, where are her cute rosy cheeks??? third, why does she look so much like a baby alien?!?!? why does everyone think that she is so cute and perfect, too?? i definitely do not like their decision to pick her, i’ve seen waaaaay better and i am utterly disappointed !

she’s just as i pictured renesmee to be, things like hair and eye colour can easily be changed as we’ve already seen. i dont think it’d be too big an issue her being too old, i didn’t think she was 9 when i saw her and they’ll do a lot to her hair and make up and stuff anyway

Anyway, she is a good choice. Well Done Summit Entertainment. But there are werewolves like Brady and Collin who need actors to and there needs to be a Lizzie (If you dont know who she is..OMG..read the book properly!) as well.
