THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN — The Denali Coven Casting Update
Summit Entertainment announced today the following have been cast in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN for roles in The Denali Coven as outlined below.
* The Denali Coven is comprised of Christian Camargo (THE HURT LOCKER, Dexter) as Eleazar; Casey LaBow (Moonlight) as Kate; Mia Maestro (Alias, POSEIDON) as Carmen; MyAnna Buring (DOOMSDAY) as Tanya; as well as previously announced Maggie Grace (Lost, TAKEN) as Irina.
* The Denali Coven is the only other “vegetarian” vampire coven in the world, considered cousins to the Cullens.
* The next chapter of THE TWILIGHT SAGA will be released as two separate films with the first of the two slated to be released in theatres on November 18, 2011 and the second coming to theatres on November 16, 2012.
* Academy Award® winner Bill Condon will direct both films starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. The project, based on the fourth novel in author Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series, is currently being written by Melissa Rosenberg with Wyck Godfrey, Karen Rosenfelt and Stephenie Meyer producing.
* THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN illuminates the secrets and mysteries of this spellbinding romantic epic that has entranced millions.

i checked all the people out and i say they are all good choices. i can’t wait for the movies. rereading all the books again and again till eclipse comes out. YAY!!!!!!!!

im happy that they released the actors! But, i dont like Tanya and Eleazar’s actors. Idk, maybe they might look better with the pale skin and gold contacts, we’ll see
Same here. the actress to play Tanya isn’t really convincing me either. I envisioned her differently, maybe once the promo pics come out maybe i’ll change my mind. i really like the actress to play renessmee, she is so cute. i can’t wait to see bella vamped up, and i think we all can’t wait to see the pillow scene.
oh! and the wolf pack better beef up, they were looking kind of flabby.
and i’m still upset that they didn’t put in alice’s story, which only james knew, nor did they put the cute/funny story of how she met jasper. jeeeez…. they really did mess up on some things didn’t they? shakes head.
Christian Camargo as Eleazar! Loved him on Dexter! Can’t wait to see him in this. Though, ironically, i doubt there will be nearly as much bloodletting.
its going to hard to wait so long to see the next movie. But since I have read the last book, I know it’s going to be even better!!!!
I really dont like the choice for Tanya, I envision her as someone really gorgeous. The actor isnt all that good looking and she looks a little old.
I agree, the first thought I had went I saw a pic of her is she looks too old to play Tanya who’s suppose to be super beautiful. Kristen Stewart is waaaay better looking.

I think they’re all good choices, we’ll see what they look like in the vampire clothes and makeup, they’ll look just divine.
I heard about one of the actors for the Denali Coven. But I only know Maggie Grace. She was chosen to play as Irina. She’s a nice actress.

Christian Camargo- Will make a good Eleazar once they do gold contacts and all that
Casey LaBow- Same thing she just looks a tad bit to old to me…
Mia Maestro- Love this one!!!! I think she makes an amazing Carmen almost exactly as I pictured
MyAnna Buring- One word. NO. I mean really what were they thinking?! Not a good face for Tanya at ALL
