Kristen is so wrong! She is not a shield because she changed when she was pregnant! Um, hello! Edward could NEVER hear her thoughts, even when she was human (and without child), or Aro, or Jane. Bella was born with this latent ability that finally manifested itself when she changed. She had the whole time, her whole life!
I disagree. I think she was just trying to say this was when the shield was truly noticeable and she was able to reign it in with Renesmee’s motivation. PS. The above comment was from my twin sister
