Interview with Kirsten Prout – Lucy in Eclipse Movie

LimeLife has an interview with Kirsten Prout. Kirsten will be playing Lucy in the Eclipse movie. Lucy was part of Maria’s vampire army.

Here is an excerpt:

She says of her character Lucy, “The character is extremely predatory and what’s amazing about playing a vampire is you are a predator and you lure in your pray and then you turn on them” and believes she was partly chosen for the role because of how pale she is! They didn’t have to do any air-brushing on her because she’s quite pale enough.

I loved her in Kyle XY, I loved that show too, I miss it, anyways it will be fun to see her play a vampire she was such a good girl on Kyle XY.

Jackson Interview

Jackson Rathbone has another interview with MTV, I missed this one so thanks to our reader Alice for sending me the link.

In the interview Jackson talks all about his role and scenes in Eclipse.

Here is an excerpt:

“I got to go back into my old roots, got to ride some horses again, which was nice. Got to put these riding boots to use, which is good,” Rathbone said, motioning to his boots. “I actually can ride a horse.”

Jasper’s backstory, which takes place during the Civil War, will be told through flashbacks, Rathbone confirmed. Though the explanation of Jasper’s history takes up a good portion of the novel, he hinted that the film version would be shorter.

“It was just really fantastic to get to delve in there and to get to don all the Civil War regalia and whatnot. That was a pleasure,” he said. “I had to wear this wool suit of a major, cavalry major. “I got the big hat and everything. Hop off the horse, bow to these ladies, and then I get eaten. And then I get turned!”

Thanks again Alice. I can’t wait to see all the flashbacks in Eclipse. I think it is gonna be very sweet!!!

Well we weren’t suppose to get this till they reached 200,000 followers, but guess they knew we couldn’t wait that long LOL!!! They have about 112,000 followers when they reach 200,000 they promise to show us something else special. So excited wonder what it will be?

Could 100 Monkeys be on Eclipse Soundtrack

MTV talked with Jackson Rathbone about the possibility of his band, 100 Monkeys, being on the Eclipse Soundtrack.

This is what he had to say:

“It’s been talked about, but it’s one of those things,” Rathbone said when asked if he had been approached to have songs on the previous soundtracks. “We’re going to be kind of giving some of our songs off of our upcoming album for them to see if they want to put on ‘Eclipse.’ “

Muse on Eclipse Soundtrack?

MTV has an article talking about the band Muse and the possibility that they may be on the Eclipse soundtrack.

From the article:

“It’s great to have the feeling of being a new band again in so many people’s eyes or minds … we might even do something for the third one,” drummer Dominic Howard told MTV News. “How about that for a scoop?”

Muse is on the Twilight and New Moon soundtracks and is a favorite of Stephenie Meyer and are friends with David Slade. That certainly increases their odds doesn’t it!
