Hey guys – Site Updates

What’s up Guys Leandra here!!!

Just wanted to tell you about some updates to the site.

Chat Box

First up, as some of you have already found, there is a new chat box on the site. It is on the bottom of the page in the middle.

The chat box is going up on a trial basis.
It has the same rules as comments for posts:
NO CURSING!!!
NO NAME CALLING or BASHING!!!
Everyone is allow to view their opinions, but do so in a respectable manner just like in the comments.
IF I start to see a lot of abuse going on in the chat room I will take it down, but I don’t want to do that.
Also as a security reminder never give out sensitive or personal information in the chat box. It is public and anyone could access it. Safety first!!!

Jamey came up with the idea and designed the box as a surprise, I just found out last night!!! I think it’s a great addition to the site and I hope you all like it too.

Featured Video

Next up, we have had the featured video up since the new design went up and I would just change it like once a month, but now Jamey has worked out a code so that a different video plays everyday.

The videos range from trailers to spoofs to music and fan made videos. So make sure you check it out everyday to see what’s playing. There are a lot of funny videos just because I like to have a good laugh all the time.

The featured video is located on the bottom of the page beside the chat box!!!

Twilight Cast Twitter and Birthdays

Since we added the chat box we had to move the box that had the Twitter accounts on them for the Twilight cast. They are now on the sidebar on the right at the bottom.

Also we have a new section called Twilight Cast Birthdays. It is a list of all the birthdays of the cast members. I am only missing a couple, couldn’t find them anywhere. It is also located on the right side bar toward the bottom.

I would like to thank our reader Carisa, aka MNTwilightMom, who sent me the email a while ago with the Cast birthdays on them. Thought it was a great idea so I added it to the site. Now you can all look up your favorite Twilight stars birthdays!!!

OK, that’s it for now. We have other things in the works so look forward to new additions to the site.

And just because I hate to leave posts with just text up here is a picture of the sexiest wolf in the World Taylor Lautner!!!
Yeah I know I’m bias, but the boy is so darn sexy I can’t hep it!!!

Swan Home sign stolen in Forks

The “Home of the Swans” sign at Forks’ Swan House has been stolen!!!
That’s right it was taken, probably by some over obsessed Twihard or Twihater!!!

If anyone knows who has the sign, or has information about what happened to it, please contact the Forks Police Department at 360-374-2223.

Earthquake devastates Haiti

As many of you have probably heard by now an earthquake devastated Haiti yesterday. The earthquake struck PORT-AU-PRINCE, it’s capital, and has left the country in shambles. According to Yahoo it is feared that the death toll may reach 100,000. Humanitarian efforts are already underway.

The fansite Thinking of Rob has been blogging and tweeting about the disaster since yesterday. If you would like to make donations and help out head on over to Thinking of Rob. They have a very detailed post with ways you can donate and help.

Our prayers go out to the people of Haiti.

Odds and Ends Post

I have been cleaning out folders all day, literally. I got posts scheduled for cakes and Fan art till almost March!!! Jamey thinks he has finally gone through all the fan graphics we have gotten from readers, around 400 graphics, so we should have them up for everyone to see in the next couple of days. I have a lot of videos to go through yet, probably do that tomorrow. So here is what I have left. Some odds and ends stuff sent in by readers.

Tamara from Holland sent in a pic of this Twilight Saga Chair she made I thought was Cool!!!

Linda sent in this little tidbit and pic:

“In Australia we have a drink called Bella made by YellowGlen and there is a Sparkling wine called Jacob’s Creek.”

So this is not a Twilight product, but I thought it was just funny that once we become obsessed with Twilight then we can see it everywhere, lol!!!
