He is such an amazing actor.He is awesome on the TV show Sanctuary and we just finished watching the season Hell on Wheels he was in and he was fantastic! I am really looking forward to seeing him in the new season of True Blood also.

Season 5 of True Blood starts June 10th and Christopher Heyerdahl is joining the cast as a regular.
He plays Dieter Braun, an ancient, powerful vampire who is part of the Vampire Authority.

Twilight mentioned on TV Show Sanctuary

Christopher Heyerdahl, who plays Marcus in Twilight, also plays Bigfoot / John Druitt / Jack the Ripper (Yes all 3 characters he is a busy man) on the Show Sanctuary. He mentions Twilight on the show.

The show is on the Sy-Fy channel on Friday nights. I really enjoy it!

Christopher Interview

The Calgary Herald has an interview with Christopher Heyerdahl. Marcus creeped me out in New Moon and he hardly even said anything, LOL!!!

What are some of the more memorable fan encounters you’ve seen working on New Moon?

(Laugh) There was a girl in Chicago. I did an appearance in Chicago and there was a young girl there, it was very sweet. Literally every time she saw one of us she couldn’t speak. She’d sit there with this smile on her face and you’d see slowly she’d start to tremble, and then she would start to giggle, and then she would start to jump up and down, and she just giggled and jumped. That’s all she did.

She was about 15. She was a very, very sweet young girl. It was very funny. She could not speak. Cameron Bright [who plays Alec, another member of the Volturi] was there, and she’d just go ‘He’s s-o-o-o c-u-u-ute.’

Interview with the Volturi

Movie Mazzupial has an interview with some members of the Volturi. They interviewed Charlie Bewley, Cameron Bright and Christopher Heyerdahl while in Brisbane on a Twilight Tour.

MM: Right, well on that note then; how do you think audiences are going to react to the New Moon film?

Charlie: I think it differs from Twilight for a few different reasons. But I think the main reason is this film you can take your whole family to watch and everyone is going to take something out of it. Whereas the first film was a bit of an emotional play between three characters, this one has a lot of action. Chris Weitz is an excellent CGI expert and is obviously very good at directing high-action movies like in the past. This one is, like I said, you can take anyone to this one, it’s got something for everyone. The stakes are up, which is different from the first one as well so it’s going to be an exciting film.

Cameron: Yeah, for this one another part of it that’s really good for people is the last one was really about those three main people, Bella, Edward and Jacob. And now you’re getting so much more. You’re getting the wolf pack introduced, us, the Volturi, introduced and there’s just a lot more elements to it to make it a deeper story.
