Michael interviews Ashley

Michael Sheen interviewed Ashley Greene for Interview Magazine. It’s a cute and funny interview.

Read the entire interview here.

Here is an excerpt:

MICHAEL SHEEN: Okay. This is my first question. This is the only really serious one, and then the rest are quite funny. The first one is: As an elf, raised by humans, have you found a lot of discrimination against the fairy folk here in Hollywood?

ASHLEY GREENE: Well, I think they’re just jealous that I sparkle and speak elfin and have cute little pointy ears.

SHEEN: It’s true.

GREENE: So, yes, there’s discrimination. But I really don’t care.

SHEEN: You do get described as pixie-like a lot. In my younger days, I used to get described as sort of elf-like. I think it’s probably a lot easier to deal with that if you’re a pretty girl, rather than a sort of average-looking boy.

GREENE: I’m sorry about your adolescence.

ASHLEY GREENE

With five films scheduled to come out in the next year, it’s safe to say that Ashley Greene is riding the momentum from the absurd Twilight wave. The young vampire with the psychic abilities—she also has the power to make girls literally break down in tears in public—has already survived a sex-tape scandal, so that’s out of her teen idol system. But how far into her own future can she see? From where we’re standing, the near-future, at least, looks promising.

ASHLEY GREENE:

“I grew up in a house that would be perfect to set a horror movie in. It was out in the country, right on the water. I’m glad I never got to see scary movies when I was young. Otherwise I would have imagined things coming out of the lake.

ROBERT PATTINSON

A bit of Brando, a twinge of Dean, the Twilight star possesses that slightly strange alien quality that turns brooding good looks into the iconic. He has just enough edge to make teens and tabloids go into “crazed hunter” mode—have you seen Robsessed?—but also a disarming, slightly crippling self-awareness. It’s early yet for Pattinson, but we’re eagerly awaiting part two of his entertaining saga.

On life before Twilight:

“We spent the better part of a year just getting drunk every night… “I don’t know if that counts as ‘struggling.’”

Top 10 Magazine Covers – Kristen on Cover of Interview Magazine

1

Time Magazine has their list of the top 10 everything lists for 2009. One of their lists were for the top 10 magazine covers and Kristen Stewart’s Interview magazine cover made #9 on the list.

I loved this photo shoot. She looked amazing. You can check out the pictures, again, from the shoot here.

Here is what they said:

This is a hauntingly beautiful rendition of a visual pun — allusion meets illusion. The model for Interview’s 40th anniversary issue is actress Kristen Stewart, who currently stars in the monster hit Twilight series. Using her as the model is a masterstroke of celebrity-cover timing, perfectly executed. The image is two photos — if you pull back, you can see her holding over her own face a same-scale, torn black-and-white photo of her, whose only color is in her blood-red lips. The ghoulish makeup is perfectly in keeping with current fashion photography, and it serves the dual purpose of enhancing the metaphor while making her look drop-dead beautiful. A final touch: the allusion gets heightened by more blood, this time on the fanglike letter I in the logo. That’s why the lady is a vamp!

Kristen Interview

1ass

Interview Magazine has an interview with Kristen Stewart. She is interviewed by actor Dennis Hopper.

Read the entire interview here and check out some great pics of her from their photo shoot. There is some foul language in the interview.

Here is an excerpt from the interview:

HOPPER: [both laugh] You know, you’re giving really wonderful performances. Since you didn’t know you’d be making sequels when you were making the first Twilight, has it been difficult for you to get back into character for these new ones?

STEWART: I’ve actually always been interested in following a character more long term, but the only place to really do that as an actor is on a TV series. But the Twilight series is cool because you know what’s ahead of you—all of the books have been written. And I get breaks in between. It’s sort of a depressing thing to lose a character just when you’ve been able to get to know her. Usually, at the end of a film it’s like I’ve finally gotten to know this person completely, and then we’re done. That actually happened on the set of Twilight, and then it happened again on New Moon. Each time my character Bella became a different person, and I got to know that person and take her to the next level.
