J-14 Continues their countdown to Twilight. They have a short interview with Justin Chon and Christian serratos you can read below.
J-14: What’s an oddest thing that a Twilight fan has done for you so far?
Christian Serratos: My name was sent in to space.
J-14: Wow, really, how so?
Christian: I don’t know. One day I was just chilling at home and I got this big envelope and there were NASA certificates inside of it.
Justin Chon: Oh, I got that too.
Christian: Yeah!
J-14: Oh so you’re both literally out of this world.
Justin: Yeah, we’re groovy.

J-14 also has a short chat with Edi Gathegi and Alex Meraz talking Twitter which you can read below:
J-14: Edi, you’re so active on Twitter. How do you use it to rally New Moon fans?
Edi Gathegi: Am I SO active on Twitter?
J-14: Pretty much! We know what you’re doing right now — 7 1/2 hours of interviews!
Edi: That means you’re a Twitter junkie!
J-14: Okay, you’re onto me.
Edi: I think I only have 100 Tweets.
Alex Meraz: But Peter [Facinelli] has a lot — I call him “Tweeter.”

For their New Moon Countdown today J-14 has a short Interview with Justin Chon.
Read the entire interview here.
Here is an excerpt:
J-14 exclusive interview with Justin Chon about the paparazzi
J-14: What was it like landing in Vancouver to film New Moon, knowing it would be so different than the experience filming the first Twilight?
Justin Chon: Just a total trip. Most of the movies I’ve done were small indies on a smaller scale. Shooting-wise, they feel the same — you’re just working — but in terms of what’s surrounding the movie, it’s just unbelievable how many people have so much interest in this movie — it’s just wild. I just can’t believe it

The Twilight Fansites, Twilight Examiner, Twilight Series Theories, Twilight Facebook, Twilight Moms, His Golden Eyes, Twilighters, Twilighters Anonymous, Twilight Superfan, Twilight Source/Imprint, Bella and Edward and Twilight Lexicon had a phone interview with Anna Kendrick, Justin Chon, Christian Serratos and Michael Welch.
You can read a transcript of the interview over at Twilight Lexicon to get all the details.
It’s a great interview so make sure you check it out.
Here is an excerpt:
Q: What was your favorite scene to shoot?
Mike: My favorite scene by far was the kind of three way date that happened between Mike and Bella and Jacob. That horribly awkward moment when Mike asks Bella out to the movies and she tries to turn it into a group thing and then it ends up being the worst case scenario which is that that three way thing. You know, I’m sure it was certainly not a lot of fun for Mike to go through. I mean, I can relate, as I’m sure a lot of us can, but it was a lot of fun to do.
Anna: And I would have to say that there is a scene where Jessica and Bella go to the movies. That was fun because Jessica really likes to talk about herself and Bella is really depressed. She’s not saying much. We were just kind of trying to do it all in one take, and Chris told me to just keep talking until we came to a natural stop. So I stopped and just kind of monologued as flighty, silly Jessica which was a blast.

Here is an excerpt:
“The premiere is going to be wild; it’s gonna be a zoo,” he laughed, sounding for a minute like a super-fan. “I want to meet Michael Sheen!”
“Recently, I had met all the wolf pack, but I finally met Tin[sel Korey] and Bronson [Pelletier] maybe two weeks ago,” Chon said. “And I was like, ‘God, I feel like I already know you, but this is the first time I’m meeting you!’ That is so wild.
Thanks Alice!

The LA Asian American Movie Examiner has an article and interview with Justin Chon. They talk about his career and of course his character in Twilight.
Read the interview here.
Here is an excerpt:
In “Twilight” you play Eric Yorkie who was not written specifically as an Asian American character. Tell us about the role.
He’s supposed to be white but Catherine Hardwicke, the director of the first film, went to the producers and studio and convinced them to hire me for the part. There’s never any mention of my character being Asian or any talk of his ethnicity.
Do you think that’s a good thing?
I think it’s great. It does matter but at the same time I have nothing against playing ethnic specific parts. It’s wonderful to get those opportunities. It’s needed and there definitely is a place for it.
But just the fact that “Twilight” is such a pop culture phenomenon made this a huge movie that a lot of people are seeing. I think it’s very important that people watch this movie and go “Hey, that guy goes to my high school.”
I mean why do we have to see this character as a certain type of person when it could be anybody. He could be Black, White, Mexican, Asian. I think high school is a good example of that. “Twilight” is reaching so many people and I think it’s a really good step in the right direction for diversity and opening up doors.
Thanks Carrie!
Interview with the Twilight Humans

The Calgary Herald has an interview with the humans of Twilight. Read the entire interview here to read what Anna Kendrick, Michael Welch, Justin Chon and Christian Serratos have to say.
WooHoo!! Love to the Humans!
Here is an excerpt:
If you weren’t playing humans, which would you prefer to play: a vampire or a werewolf?
Anna: I would personally rather be a werewolf since they seem to get to have a lot more fun. The vampires are very cool, but they have to be very calm and collected all the time. The werewolves get to let loose a little bit more.
Michael: I’d much rather play a vampire. Being a vampire would be cool, I think, for the first 100 years or so. It’d be fun to be able to play because vampires are just too cool; they’re just sexy and interesting and complicated.
Christian: I’d play a wolf. I’d play Leah, ’cause she’s sassy.

MTV has an interview with Justin Chon. In the interview he talks about a movie he is writing with his actor friend, Leonardo Nam.
Read the entire interview here for all the details.
Here is an excerpt:
“What we’re writing is about a road trip down to Argentina, with three kids that grew up in Huntington; it’s a really cool story,” he explained, saying it’s part comedy, part drama. “There’s a little bit of everything. It’s like ‘The Motorcycle Diaries’ meets ‘Lords of Dogtown.’”

MTV has an interview with Justin Chon. He talks about the Twilight movies.
Read the entire interview here.
Here is an excerpt:
MTV: So, the humans stuck pretty close to the book this time. How about you and Christian Serratos? What can we look forward to seeing in Angela and Eric’s blossoming romance?
Chon: We tried to spend a lot of time together [on set to prepare]; I don’t think their relationship is lovey-dovey, where I’m kissing her all the time. It’s [Eric's] first relationship, so I don’t even know how to do it — we’re both awkward people, so it consisted of her hitting me a lot. It’s that kind of relationship that’s very awkward, like she’ll tell me to shut up when I’ll say, ‘I love you!’ And her term of affection is punching me in the arm or something.

JI: Speaking of America, New Moon will be premiering soon. How are you prepping yourself for the madness?
JC: Absolutely no preparation at all.
JI: You’re just going to walk in there and be cool?
JC: What’s there to prepare for? I’ll uh…get a suit. I’ll uh…get a suit and on the day of I’ll show up with [my publicist] Anthony and we’ll… watch the movie. I think that’s the best preparation I can do.
