Reelz Channel has an interview up with Melissa Rosenberg talking writing the scripts for the Twilight Saga including Eclipse and the TENT SCENE!!!
The tent scene is my favorite part of the entire saga. I cannot wait to see it on the big screen. I seriously might revert back to a screaming teenage girl when it comes on the screen and lord knows I haven’t been a teenage girl for a while, LOL!!!!

In an interview with MTV, Melissa Rosenberg talks about 4 things she added to the movie that wasn’t in the book.
She talks dream catcher, Harry Clearwater, Laurent and Volturi fight scene. I think all these scenes, though not in the books, definitely added to the movie and didn’t distract from it.

5 things in New Moon Explained by MTV

MTV has an article talking about 5 differences in the movie New Moon. Chris Weitz and Melissa Rosenberg explain to MTV why the changes. They talk Edward’s car, Grandma, Victoria, Taylor and the last scene.
Read all about it here.
There are spoilers!!!!!
Here is an explanation on Edward’s famous car:
If his lousy parking job distracted you, perhaps you didn’t notice that when Edward pulled into Forks High, his famed Volvo was no longer gray, as it was in the novels and the first movie. Hey, Chris Weitz, what gives? “I’ve taken a real spanking for this, a lot of heat,” the director explained. “I’ll tell you exactly why: Volvo wanted to give us a new, different car so I didn’t want to paint it exactly the same silver color, because then [Twilighters] would be saying, ‘Why are they trying to say that it’s the same car; it’s obviously not.’ So, I thought, ‘Well, I’ll choose a new color!’ And I thought I would choose slate black, not a reflective black, because it actually absorbs light and it would reflect the mood and melancholy and depression [of his character]. I know I got it wrong, I apologize for that. But that is my reasoning.”

FearNet has an interview with Melissa Rosenberg. She talks all about the Twilight movies.

Here is an excerpt:
Fans want to know: Did the proposal scene make it into New Moon?
The proposal comes into the end of New Moon, and that is the first proposal. Absolutely in Eclipse, the proposal when they’re on the bed, yes — to me, that was a quintessential scene from the book. When Edward gets on his knees, with his mother’s ring, and she says yes — that was one of the most romantic scenes that Stephenie wrote in all four books.
Thanks Selina!
New Moon at Rome Film Festival

Melissa Rosenberg, Charlie Bewley, Jamie Campbell Bower and Cameron Bright were all at the Rome Film Festival promoting New Moon.
Twilighters Anonymous has a number of pictures from the event you can check out here.
Go here to get descriptions of clips shown and and part of the question and answer session.
Here is part of the Q&A:
Breaking Dawn: will it be filmed? When?”
Rosenberg and the actors declined to answer, and only said they are perfectly happy with the first three films. (They didn’t say “We don’t know yet”, they actually skirted the question…) Rosenberg said she has chosen to focus on the emotional journey of the book, and tried to replicate it in her script. This meant condensing some scenes, expanding other scenes with more action sequences. In the first movie she was very protective of her script, and felt Meyer was a strong external influence; but this time she realized Meyer was very cooperative, and a pleasure to work with.

Rotten Tomatoes has an in depth article on New Moon director Chris Weitz.
They talk about his career and include statements about Chris from Taylor Lautner, Wyck Godfrey, Melissa Rosenberg and Rachelle Lefevre. You can read the entire article here.
Here is what Taylor had to say about Chris:
Taylor Lautner on Weitz: “What I love about Chris is, the set is very calm and we’re just having a lot of fun making the movie. And then you sit back and you look at the results that are happening, and it looks amazing so far. I’m so excited to see it. And you just sit back and see what’s going on, and you’re like, ‘How are we having such an easygoing, relaxed time making this movie, and it’s turning out the way it is?’ At the same time, the conversations with Catherine — she just related to us so well. So does Chris. They’re both talented directors, and I’m thankful that I had the opportunity to work with both of them.”
