In the original Twilight film, the trio’s song Supermassive Black Hole was used, while on New Moon they had I Belong To You (New Moon Remix) on the soundtrack. In upcoming third movie Eclipse, the band have Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever).

Matt added: “It’s great to be involved and it’s so much fun. I like the movies a lot. They’re really good and we hope to continue with this and do another song.”

Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever) – Coming May 17th

A brand new Muse song will be released worldwide on Monday May 17th! The track, ‘Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever)’ was written and recorded by the band earlier this year and has been chosen to be the lead single from the soundtrack of the forthcoming Twilight film ‘Eclipse’.

For all of you dying to know who is going to be on the Eclipse soundtrack well here is some good news for you straight from Stephenie Meyer’s Official Website:

The first single on “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack” has just been confirmed and I get to bring you the exclusive details. Stephenie’s very favorite band, Muse, has contributed a song called “Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever)” and it’s the first single from the project. It will be out on May 17th. I haven’t heard it yet, but I am very excited. The official soundtrack will also be available on June 8th

The Twilight Saga Eclipse movie soundtrack is available for pre-order from Amazon.
