The official Twilight Twitter is announcing that some cast members will be attending midnight release parties for the New Moon DVD. They are posting some of the information now. They have announced that Edi Gathegi and Peter Facinelli will be attending and in what cities so far.

Alice sent me a link to an artist, Noel Cruz and his page. He repaints dolls to look like celebrities and they are amazing looking. I seen these a while ago, but never made a post about them. IESB: So are you getting ready for this big epic finale Breaking Dawn, they are saying it’s a two parter, possibly 3D, are they telling you to expect double the time for production?

PF: I would. I think it’s a very big book, makes a great doorstop (laughing). It’s a very thick book and has a lot of stuff going on so to try to squeeze that into two hours would be difficult so I think making it into two makes the most sense. I don’t even know if they’ve made a decision on that yet, I heard that’s what they were steering towards. But, I let them do their thing, when they call me to show up on set, that’s where I’ll be, I let them do the business stuff and I’m supportive of their decisions. Summit has done a good job with the books so far with picking the directors and putting the movies out there so I defer to them on those decisions and I’m just excited to bring Carlisle to life.

On making Eclipse:
What I love about the third movie is that you get to see a side of Carlisle you haven’t seen before, and what his vampire capabilities really are. There are some really great battle sequences. It’s my favorite book.

Is Carlisle really a good doctor?:
Oh he’s great! Because Carlisle has been around for so long, I think that he’s very well educated and what I love about him is he has a real love for humanity. People always ask me what kind of research did you do to play a vampire. I say I do very little to play a vampire, because I’m playing a vampire who is trying to be human. My research is more what is it to be human. Why does he love humanity so much, that he wanted to hold on to that. When you look at something like Twilight, the good vampires aren’t necessarily good, they’re just eccentric. The bad vampires are just doing what they’re born to do and made to do. It’s kind of like domesticating a lion. For me, Carlisle is just holding on to that humanity. He doesn’t want to be a vampire.
